Purpose was to stay close to the airport for one night due to an early morning departure. Conveniently located close to

Hotel rooms seemed updated, clean and functional. Bed was comfortable and pillows great. Breakfast was also good and plenty. Tram stop is within a couple minutes walk from the hotel and takes you to the airport in 3 min and the same tram also take you to downtown (about 25 minutes).

All was good for our one night stay.

The location is near tram station. Shuttle bus service to the airport at a fee.

I have booked a room for 3 persons. Upon checking in, I found out that the room facilities were only for 2 persons, i. e. only 2 cups, 2 pairs of room slippers, 2 bathrobes, 2 bottles of mineral water. Besides, no electric kettle, no toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes provided as stated. Although coffee maker was provided but without coffee capsules. On the 2nd day, again only 2 bottles of water given, and on the 3rd day, there was only 1 bottle. Upon request, the receptionist told me that only 1 bottle will be provided to each room, any extra will be charged. Alternatively, l could just drink from the tap. This was very unlikely to happen for a 4 Star hotel.

Unprofessional Front Desk & Poor Guest Service – Would Not Recommend I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Dorint Hotel Zurich Airport warrants one. We prepaid for the 8:00 AM shuttle to the airport (5 CHF per person). We arrived at 8:06—just minutes late—due to a misunderstanding about the pickup time. The shuttle had already left, which was fair enough. What was not fair was the front desk response. When I asked if they could help us arrange alternate transportation, the staff member refused. When I asked for a refund, he again refused. That part, I can accept as policy. What I cannot accept is his smug, condescending attitude—standing at the desk smirking at us, making it clear he found our inconvenience amusing. We made our own way to the airport, but the unprofessional behavior left a sour taste—especially at a hotel that markets itself as an airport-friendly property. On top of that, the food options are overpriced and mediocre (30 CHF for a bland hamburger). Between poor service, overpriced dining, and zero hospitality in a city known for professionalism, I cannot recommend this property. There are better options in Zurich for the same price.

Too expensive for what is offered

Positive aspect: the staff, room was big and hotel is very well located , 5 minutes by car from the airport.

Did my booking through Booking.com as usual and staff was unable to locate it. We had to wait almost 30 minutes while the receptionist tried to find another room, which hopefully he did. The room offered had only a double bed so no place for my teenage son to sleep. We were told that they would bring another bed to the room which happened almost 40 minutes after we had installed ourselves in the room. It was already after 23:00 . Bed was small and uncomfortable, did not fit my 1,85 m son. Conclusion, what I paid doesn’t match the value received. I wouldn’t return.

Room was great, but felt transport service was misleading.

The room was clean, modern, and the bed was firm (which we appreciate). The pillows were AMAZING.

We were VERY disappointed that, despite arriving before the last airport to hotel shuttle was scheduled, a shuttle never arrived and we had to pay for a taxi to get to the hotel. The hotel charges for a service to take you back to the airport when leaving. Both of these defeated the reason we booked this particular hotel.

Modern hotel close to the airport

Close to the airport with good transport links to access Zürich Centre. Very helpful and professional reception staff. The room was modern, clean and incredibly quiet considering the proximity to the airport. I enjoyed the complementary mini bar which provide provided a range of beverages. The buffet breakfast was reasonable value and good quality.

There was a delay in cleaning my room. However, when I informed the reception staff, they took immediate attempts to rectify the problem

Our stay at DORINT.

The proximity to the airport and to stores. Many of the hotel staff were very courteous. The room was standard. Bathroom was clean. Closets were clean too. I loved the lighting. The hotel design is beautiful.

The lady who checked me was not nice. The fact that she did not want to give me options of the floors to choose from. Also, having to ask for lotion/cream was unnecessary. However, when I asked, I was given. I also didn't like the pillows.

Close to the airport. Clean.

No AC in room even though they advertise they do and told me they “fixed” it. It’s literally just circulating air. No freon. Beds were awful - so uncomfortable. We canceled our first hotel because I like this hotel, they were honest, and said they didn’t have AC so we switched, paying more, to one that said they did but upon arrival and hours of interrupted- provided no such thing. We slept terribly and its was our only bad night after 27 days staying on various hotels. Also , the food is overpriced and terrible. They don’t treat their waitstaff well, giving them more than they should handle .

Very spacious rooms and modern rooms especially the family ones .they have a cooling system in the room which works well enough for the summer heat and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to a tram that takes 4 min to the airport Will definitely return

Works only for one night!

Spacious family room

No power plug: we arrived late and our phones were dead. We asked for Swiss Swiss-style power plug, and the receptionist had no plugs to provide; all nearby stores were closed around 9 pm! Toilets are not very clean Pillows are very soft and uncomfortable!

Disappointing for the price, better hotels around

Location- close to airport and local shops

Shuttle bus pick up from airport to hotel was unreliable Room furnishings were tired and out dated. No basis provision in room that I’d expect for price paid- no shampoo/conditioner, no tissues, no face cloths. Ugly gap in cupboard which looked like the space where a fridge had been. Booked in February for a June stay requesting a double bed. Twin beds in room when we arrived and just one mug for tea/coffee.

This was a nice place to stay for the night before flying out of the Zurich airport.

It is near the Zurich airport and uses a free shuttle service to take you from the airport to the hotel. The staff were very nice and spoke English fluently. The room was very nice quality and had a comfortable bed for one night prior to our long flight.

The breakfast was too expensive (28 francs per person) and the shuttle to the airport was not available the morning of the flight. You need to request the shuttle booking the night before departure, and it costs 5 francs per person for the shuttle ride.

Hotel was nice to grant me a little early check in at 1pm. Thank you for this. The room is OK with coffee machine. There is airport shuttle from hotel to airport costing 5 swiss franc, very convenient and easy. The shuttle driver is super nice. I had dinner in the hotel and the food is nice

i found out the bottle of water, which was free from the hotel, was opened and half full, means the housekeeping didn't take care on this. Also, there was water still in the coffee machine.... it made me wonder if the room has been clean or not....

Perfect overlay.

They had a shuttle (only 5 mins) from and to the airport. We had an overlay, so we stayed in the room for only a short time. The reception is open 24/7 and they help you with all your questions. Clean room with all the facilities you need.

The hotel room and bathroom are nice and clean, look updated, Staff is nice and kind, It is very easy to reach the tram for going to Zurich center. Shuttle service from and to the airport was very convenient and on time.

A small thing... The sink is too high (seems higher than standard) for people who are not tall, so it is not easy to reach the liquid soap dispenser on the wall (deep) behind the sink without leaning and wetting one's shirt... It would be much easier if the hotel could locate the dispenser closer - on the wall on the left or on the right. The hotel is relatively expensive.

Nice hotel

Hotel location is very near to the airport and can be reached by tram 🚊 10 & 12 easily. Breakfast is good and available several choice. Also there is fruits and cookies in the lobby for free

Unpleasant hotel stay: Expensive parking, noisy trains, and smelly bedding.

Location, close to the airport.

We will start with the exorbitant parking price of 28 CHF per night. The hotel is located right by the train tracks, so you can hear the train passing by approximately every hour or less from the room, even when the window is closed. The bed covers, pillows, and blankets were smelly, and we couldn't sleep well at night. In my opinion, they don't wash them, it's just a lingering odor on them.

The staff from cleaning.

This is the worst hotel i ever stayed in. First they dont find my reservation, and after they make up for it buy giving me and upgrade. We was two pepole traveling, and they upraded us to a room for one person. We had one of everything in the roon, and had to get everything deliverd, towels, pillow, etc. The reception was very sure this was a two mans rom. The staff from reception was exstremly arrogant.The pillows was so bad i wouldent even leave my cat to sleep on it. In the rooms you cant put the blinders up so you cannot look outside, and is dark 24/7. You pay this high prices for a hotel room, and its not worth it. Never again.
