Fussen is Beautiful, a hidden treasure.

Our room was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. We spent very little time in the space since we arrived late and had to leave very early to go to the castle. The staff was very helpful at check in, explaining everything we needed to know to catch the bus to the castle. We were very grateful to be able to store our bags for the day, while we were out sight seeing. Fussen is beautiful and if there is a next time we are going to plan to stay longer.

Everything was easily accessible and staff were worked with were awesome and friendly.

Location and parking was center in the city, everything close by. We were close to many eateries and everything was walkable. It was nice we could bring car to door while loading up vehicle.

Room in a lower level or elevator, but this was only a hinderance bringing luggage up and down.

Good location in the middle of Fussen pedestrian street; one of the rooms had 4 single beds - a rare combination which allowed me and my husband to rest comfortably without getting little hands and feets on our face in the middle of the night.

Only one bathroom for the 6 of us; property only had basic amenities and nothing fancy

Location is within Old City Center. Slightly hidden as it was inside a commercial area but it is OK. Clean, friendly staff, and very spacious and cozy

The parking instruction could be easier. It is actually underground parking of REWE /shopping complex opposite of the Old Town. Walking distance. It will be better if instruction clearly mentioned during booking as we were actually illegal parked outside another hotel, check-in before driving to the Mall

A great location to stay for visiting Zugspitze Mountain and also Neuschwanstein Castle

It was spacious and very clean and although it was a self contained apartment with kitchen we had the luxury of on-site hotel staff and reception. Location was great and staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we would stay here again.

We went in December and so the air conditioning was not available (a common thing in Germany to not have air con on in the winter) and although we could open the window it was located near a restaurant so had to keep the windows closed due to food smells

The location was great for us, as we were hiking the König-Ludwig-Weg and the hotel was very close to the end of the trail, city center shops/restaurants and bus station. Our room was large, with a sleeping space and a living room. Very nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised at this wonderful location. It was a short walk from station and right in the center of old town. The hotel and sleeping area were nice. They also held our bags.

Highly recommend for a touristing stay in Fussen!

This hotel is very well located, right in the city centre, close to shops and restaurants. We were welcomed at reception by a very nice lady who pointed out the best restaurants in town (she recommended an amazing Vietnamese which was exceptional!). She was also super lovely when explaining about the rooms, breakfast etc. Breakfast was 10/10, I was not expecting the variety we had and everything was delicious. A lot of vegetarian options. Rooms were big and beds were very comfortable. Shower had good pressure and could get very hot if you wanted it to. Another employee the next day was also very helpful and friendly and found me a toothbrush, since I lost mine. Overall, for the hotel has amazing employees who will try to help you if needed, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is very well done. I recommend this place!

Since it was the city centre, we got some noise during the night, but only from 1 or 2 groups passing through the streets. It's a quiet town, so it's not common, but can happen and the rooms are not that well isolated. The rooms don't have big windows, so they get dark, and there's nothing to do in them. Therefore I'd say it's more of a good place to come back after a day out to sleep than enjoy your day at the hotel.

one of the greatest stay during our europe trip and would definitely want to go again.

The property is in the beautiful village fussen. It was a very spacious apartment well equipped with all the necessities. Rooms were very clean and well arranged. It was in a walking distance from the railway station. The staff whom I thin was also the owner was super friendly and was fluent in English. The breakfast buffet was superb and delicious. It was worth every penny. We had a great time there. The hotel also provides you with a free transportation card valid for the whole stay. You can use the travel pass to visit the castles and main attractions around the area.

A nice place but we will remember it for all the wrong reasons.

Excellent location

No aircon. Stifling at night. My wife left a number of items in room as we left in a rush. I contacted the Hotel explaining the situation and offering to cover postage for their return. The Hotel replied that nothing was left which is simply not true. One of the items left was a notebook which has significant importance to my wife.

Quant little town, great location. Clean and comfortable, but no extras.

Location was great, but a little difficult to access. Parking was confusing and roads are not all accessible by car. There is no air conditioning and if you sleep with the windows open, you may get eaten alive by bugs. Restaurants close early, but we were there on Sunday, so not sure about week days. There is a kitchenette, but no staples are provided, so if you want coffee, you will have to bring your own to put in the coffee maker or bring your own tea for the kettle or pay for a cup downstairs. The bathroom was nice and clean, nice shower with enough hot water for all six of us. The beds are comfy, nice down comforters. They do expect you to clean up before you leave, all dishes must be washed and dried or you will get fined. It is a cute town and I would go there again.

This was the only place we stayed that didn’t provide coffee or tea. You also need to be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs.

A lovely comfortable stay in a perfect location.

A perfect spot to visit everything. Staff were very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information for visiting the castles.

Nothing we didn’t like. Tea making facilities in the room were very minimal, as only 2 sachets of coffee. No tea or milk. We probably should have asked for more but the breakfast certainly made up for it.

Cozy stay in the Alps with the Castles and lakes

The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful - Katharina (still not sure about correct spelling) gave us a total guide how to reach certain locations as well as the tickets for the bus. We were able to leave our luggage before and after our check-in/check-out which enabled us smooth sightseeing. The area is very picturesque. You can visit both the castles and hike in 2 days. Highly recommended We also recommend to take a boat on Alpsee (lake)

The perfect place to stay in Fussen

We loved our stay at City Apart Hotel! The room was great, really spacious and a lovely little balcony to enjoy drinks from the lobby. The staff were really friendly and helpful with tips for how to enjoy Fussen. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the old town and everything we needed was a short walk away. I would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel for castle visiting stayover, but difficult to access.

The room and bed were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Even though GPS will lead you to the front door, you couldn't drive anywhere near this hotel to even drop your luggage. We ended up with our car in a pedestrian only zone, called reception, but couldn't find the parking garage. Once we found the garage we had to drag our harvy luggage a few city blocks to the hotel and then up several flights of stairs (no elevator). It was exhausting getting to and from the hotel/room. Breakfast was decent, but not a value.

fantastic location and employees

employee at front desk was really friendly and helpful with ideas and info. The room was spacious and well set up with two bedrooms, location was great with lots of restaurants downstairs and shopping around the corner. quick walk from the train station.

there is no elevator and the coffee in the room is already with cream/sugar.
