Everything was great! We were on our Honeymoon and thought this was the best hotel we’ve ever been at! The amenities, food options, hospitality, and location were nothing short of amazing!

Good location for hikes- great breakfast and spa

The place was easy to find, central and easy access to the hikes we had planned. The staff was super friendly and nice Good dinner and breakfast

The room was a bit outdated, carpet had a fee stains.. no AC so we had to open windows, and theres a church bell ringing so sleeping wasn’t great.. also pillows were really bad.

Highly recommend!

Spa facilities are great. Very modern and clean. The half board package was great value for money and the food was excellent each night. Staff are very friendly and able to help with any needs.

It is not really a big deal but the rooms are pretty basic and uncomfortably warm in the evenings, granted we had very hot weather and maybe because we were on the top floor but it was very very hot in the room and difficult to get a good sleep. One other small downside was the charge for tap water! I understand if you always get people drinking water you want to make some money but I heard tap water was free if you had a bottle of wine, rather odd. We drank beers and cocktails some evenings but still paid for water. Is there a difference? These points did not affect our stay really though, we loved the hotel and our time there. Just a few things to think about to make it even better.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay staff could not do enough for you.

Breakfast was great could cook your own boiled eggs with a proper timer. Afternoon snack meal was equally good and welcome when you returned fro. Skiing. Evening meals always 3 choices and we're very good.

Afternoon snack needed a pot of tea standing by but this is a British thing. There was nothing to not like.

Very luxurious top shelf place. The restaurant and spa areas, plus the pool, relaxation, and lobby areas were as nice as it gets. Right downtown Ehrwald, everything within walking distance. Loved every bit of it.

Very nice and clean hotel, I liked very much the surrounding, quite rooms and the food quality. The pool and saunas were also very nice.

The hotel is very nice, clean, well kept, service was good along with the food quality which was perfect.

I booked the hotel for 2 nights w/dinner, hoping to have a full day of relax with my wife, on our way back to Rome after a long business trip in Germany. Unfortunately the morning after our arrival we had to cancel the second night as a family member had had an accident at home and we had to drive back to assist this person. Before breakfast we advised the owner that we had to cancel the rest of our stay - without asking for a discount - and after breakfast we paid the bill in full. It would have been a nice gesture to at least not make us pay for the dinner of the second night.

perfect pool and beautiful, spacious and comfortable room

breakfast was weak, food was not replenished as quickly as needed. But the dinners, on the other hand, were perfect. The temperatures outside dropped significantly and the rooms did not heat.

The comfort was awful, no air conditioning, was very hot in the night we couldn’t sleep, when we were in the room we had some allergy our noses were running always, when we were out from hotel, all good. The cleaning was not so great or old furniture…The breakfast quality was very low, everything from fruits, omelette, etc. all very bad quality, even the coffee, they even not have espresso beans, to make real espresso coffee. Even the beer has bad quality, and warm!

Ein nettes Hotel in sehr guter Lage

Die Lage, das Essen und das Personal waren hervorragend. Dank Gästekarte konnte ich den Bus kostenfrei nutzen und das Auto zur Seilbahn stehen lassen.

Allerdings habe ich ein anderes Zimmer erhalten, als erwartet. Es war alt eingerichtet und renovierungsbedürftig. Bspw. hat eine Lampe nicht funktioniert, auch gab es nur dicke, dunkle Vorhänge. Die Kissen waren nicht zu gebrauchen, ist aber vielleicht auch Geschmacksache. Auch musste ich um 10:30 Uhr auschecken, auf der Infoseite war eine andere Uhrzeit kommuniziert, die für mich wichtig bei der Entscheidungsfindung war. Zum Spa muss man über Treppen in den Keller, somit fehlt die Barrierefreiheit. Gute Auswahl zum Frühstück, aber die Spiegeleier waren immer kalt.

War im Grunde alles super wenn man die Abstriche der „alten“ Zimmers in Kauf nimmt

Zentrale Lage, super freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Halbpension mit gutem Abendessen, sehr großes Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Der Wellness- und Sauna-Bereich mit den Aufenthalts- und Ruhemöglichkeiten sind hervorragend!

Wir hatten eines der „alten“ Zimmer. Wussten daher was auf uns zu kommt. Es gab lkein anderes mehr bei der Buchung. Leider war es dann doch schlimmer als erwartet. Dieses Zimmer ist komplett aus der Zeit gefallen. Alles zwar praktisch und großzügig, aber z. B. das Lichtkonzept geht gar nicht, entweder zu hell oder aus. Eine Lampe über dem TV und die beiden anderen am Bett leuchten so in den TV das es unmöglich ist TV zu schauen (was im Grunde im Urlaub nicht nötig ist, wer das aber möchte und dazu Licht benötigt um die Augen zu schonen hat Pech gehabt). Keine smarte Lösungen wie USB an Steckdosen oder das Smartphone mit dem TV zu verbinden. Sollte in dieser Preisklasse Standard sein. Vorhänge machen leider nicht dunkel und sind sehr lichtdurchlässig. Das Zimmer ist nicht klimatisiert, im Grunde kein Problem, Fenster auf und gut. Aber hinter dem Haus lief die erste Nacht die Poolpumpe oder Ähnliches und machte entsprechend Lärm das mit offenem Fenster an schlafen nicht zu denken war. Selbst mit geschlossenen Fenster war das „Surren“ immer noch störend wahrzunehmen. Das Geräusch war die anderen Nächte ab 22 Uhr aus. Keine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Noch nie erlebt! Bad ist ok, aber auch nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Hier denke ich an alte Menschen. Es gibt nur eine Badewanne mit sehr hohem Einstieg. Gewisse Beweglichkeit sollte noch gegeben sein. Alles in allem wäre das nicht so schlimm und eine ordentliche Unterkunft. Aber bei dem Preis der für so ein Zimmer veranschlagt wird einfach nicht gerechtfertigt. Da stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis absolut nicht. Am Frühstücksplatz lag eine Information, das man sich zur Wanderung kein Vesper vom Büffet richten soll. Man bietet stattdessen ein Vesperpakt für 9 Euro an. Soweit legitim und völlig ok. Aber dann in das Paket die billigsten Wasserwecken und den günstigsten Käse und Wurst aufzulegen geht gar nicht. Da erwarte ich dann doch auch entsprechende Qualität eines hochwertigen Käse oder auch eines leckeren Tiroler Speck!

Prima hotel, goed bezig met vernieuwen, maar op t moment te groot voor t servet en te klein voor t tafellaken.

Het ontbijt en avondeten (halfpension) was hartstikke goed. De wellness is ook top, daar zijn ook vele foto’s van op de site.

Enkele delen van t hotel waren nog echt verouderd. Zo ook onze kamer. Wel netjes en schoon. Maar de foto’s van t hotel lieten met name de vernieuwingen zien. Op de kamer geen koffie of thee faciliteiten of n koelkastje, mocht je dat belangrijk vinden.
