Great hotel in a fantastic location

Great hotel in a superb location, we had a fabulous 4 night stay in a big room with a wonderful view from the balcony. Excellent service and help provided throughout our stay and a superb breakfast every morning with variety each day. We will certainly look to come back again in the future.

A really excellent small hotel (or resort apartments) in an ideal location

We have visited Grainau and Garmisch every year for the last 20 years and think we have finally found a place we would like to return. We wondered a bit about what the "Adults Only" might imply, but there is nothing to worry about! It is clear that the two ladies, Mother and Daughter, who own the hotel have worked very hard to ensure that everything is first class. The Spa is excellent. There is no restaurant apart from breakfast (which as other guests have reported is very good) but there are several good restaurants within walking distance. The mountain walks are close by, easy and well marked.

The bed was comfortable, the duvets were amazing, the music from the music system was amazing. The bathroom was spacious and the room extremely cozy. The location and view was amazing.

The breakfast was not good, it was small and there was a meager amount of food on the block table, maybe because there were few people in the hotel and one of the hams smelled bad. The waiter was extremely polite. They forgot to change the candles in my room, one of the days there was no soap with the dispenser. The flight attendant knocked twice 20 minutes before the departure time and 10 minutes after it. It happened that there was no one at the reception

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. We stayed over after we climbed up the Zugspitze and I was surprised that the location was that perfect. It's one train stop (or 8 mins by car/taxi) away from the gondola that goes up and down the mountain, much closer than Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel, the wellness area, and especially the lovely owner, chef, and staff were all exceptionally friendly and made our stay really personable. Would have loved to stay longer, but we will be back again!

Pleasant stay but not a 4 star experience

The location was wonderful and our room had a fantastic view of the mountains. The room was very clean. The breakfast was great and Patrizio on breakfast service was exceptional!

We booked a Superior Double room and honestly the for the price paid the room was tiny. It did not look like some of the rooms online (e.g. missing double sofa, extra chair etc.) We questioned this at reception and were told that all rooms are not the same which is misleading. The room lacked the little things that truly make it a 4 star experience: - No mini bar (even though stated online that it is included, but you can pay for snacks/drinks in the common area downstairs) - No kettle/coffee machine in room - Phone in the room not working (we had to use our own mobile phone to call reception) - Netflix/Internet on TV not working - Thermostart not working - Soap in our shower was finished - Spa opening hours are too short (only open for about 3.5 hours and then you need to pay to book it after hours - which is ridiculous considering the high price you already pay for the room, as this should all be included - this should be mentioned online so guests can plan around dinner etc.), check-in at 15:00 too late

Stunning views of the Zugspitze

Everything. This hotel is run by the owner and her mother. It's a lovely hotel in Graineau which is 10 mins away from Garmisch centre. The views of the Zugspitze are incredible. Horse carriage rides, scenery, peaceful apart from the ringing of church & cow bells as the animals graze. The hotel is more traditional German and quirky things abound. Spotless , lovely bedding, free WiFi and great continental breakfast.

No lunch or dinner options when I stayed but a walk or short Taxi ride resolves this.

Auszeit im Bayer Resort

Das ganze Hotel ist sehr heimelig eingerichtet und dekoriert. Man sieht und spürt, dass da sehr viel Herzblut drin steckt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt! Wir sind mit unserem Hund gereist, wir hatten einen Korb im Zimmer der mit einem kleinen Tuch, Kotsäckchen, 2 Näpfen und einer Decke ausgesattet war, WOW! Auch der Wellnessberich ist sehr schön und sauber, wir konneten richtig entspannen! Beim Frühstücksbuffet fehlt es an nichts, frische Brötchen, Käse, Fleisch, Früchte uns vieles mehr. Das hausgemachte Müsli war jeden Tag ein anderes und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet und schmecken sehr gut. Die Gastgeberinnen sind super sympathisch, sie haben nachgefragt was unsere Tagespläne sind und uns noch Tips gegeben! Wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen, es war fantastisch! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Danke:)

Wunderschönes Hotel mit viel Liebe und Detail eingerichtet und geführt. Das Frühstück und der Wellnessbereich waren fantastisch, und die Lage ist super für Wanderungen in der Region. Sehr gute Restaurants sind zu Fuß vom Hotel erreichbar. Würde es sofort wieder besuchen und empfehle es gerne weiter.

Ruhig und gemütlich

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und konnten auch sofort das Zimmer beziehen. Nach langer Anreise genau richtig! Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist super und mit 1000 kleinen Details äußerst schön gestaltet. Der Ausblick beim Frühstück auf den Waxenstein und teilweise auf die Zugspitze ist beeindruckend. Das Frühstück lässt wirklich keinen Wunsch offen und ist mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Vom Hotel aus ist man ziemlich schnell bei den Haltestellen der Öffis. Der Eibsee ist, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist oder mit dem Fahrrad, relativ schnell erreichbar. Fußläufig gibt es außerdem diverse Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zum Einkehren. Besonders haben wir die Ruhe am Pool genossen. Wir können das Bayern Resort definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Unser Aufenthalt war enttäuschend und entsprach keineswegs dem Angebot.

Das Frühstück war gut und entsprach der Preisklasse. Der Naturbadeteich ist ansprechend angelegt, allerdings nur über den Parkplatz erreichbar.

Als weitgereiste Person und Innenarchitektin gilt mein einziges Kompliment dem Fotographen. In der Realität verdient diese Unterkunft den Namen Resort in keinster Weise und das Angebot ist viel zu teuer. Die kosmetische Renovation dieser in die Jahre gekommenen Unterkunft ist nicht von hoher Qualität - Einrichtung und Dekoration sind ohne Stil. Die "Wellness?oase?" ist nur über das Freie erreichbar - eine Besichtigung hat uns als Wellness-Liebhaber jegliche Lust zu einem Besuch verdorben.

Geweldig hotel, vriendelijke behulpzame mensen. Prachtige kamer met geweldige badkamer en supergoed liggende bedden. Ongelofelijk ontbijt op een locatie buiten met prachtig uitzicht. Prachtige wandelingen mogelijk. Treinreis via gratis card gratis. Verder natuurzwembad met ligweide.

Mogelijkheid om lunch of diner ontbraken, In dorp geen dorpswinkel of onvoldoende.

Fantastische locatie! Zeer vriendelijk personeel, niks is hen te veel. Mooie ruime kamer en fantastisch ontbijt dat je kan nuttigen met een prachtig uitzicht bij goed weer. Je komt hier volledig tot rust. We hebben nu al heimwee!
