Overall, we loved the stuff, especially the lovely chef lady, but the premises need some upgrades to justify the price

The stuff were suuuuper friendly, if I were to rate for those only I would give 10/10. But the place needs an upgrade to the 2025 standards.

Namely, WiFi was terrible. Like 5-10mbps speed that kept disconnecting and was unstable overall, what if I needed to work remotely? The signal was very weak so to me it seems like the whole building had like 1 MAX 2 access points The tv was 15 years old, it was capable of having Netflix but the tv itself didn’t have a WiFi card inside it, so it was only capable to get internet via Ethernet, which was obviously not provided. I struggle falling asleep and I wake up very easily, the window had some veeeery old wood shutters outside that couldn’t fully close and ton of light went through and in the inside there were some (Venetian) blinds that were broken and couldn’t fully roll up also, and still light went through.

Great Staff, friendly and helpful

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great for visiting Eibsee and Garmisch. Pool/sauna facilities also very nice! A very nice homely, comfortable stay.

Enjoyable short stay.

Nice pleasant hotel. Owners very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and well presented and had a fridge in the room as well as chilled water on arrival which was welcome . Everything was clean and tidy. Very convenient to Garmich, bus stop right at the door.

Overall really nice place to book, if you are planning to visit the Zugspitze, or want to hike

The breakfast was nice and everyone could choose anything for their likings, also there is free parking on the location. The swimming pool was really refreshing after a day of exploring and hiking, you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains from the water.

The place it self is located on the outskirts of the Grainau, so its a tiny bit remote. For example, if you are planning to have a dinner, there is only one or two restaurants which are a little bit pricey, otherwise you have to walk 20-25 mins to get to the village. But its not a complaint, its nothing to be improved on, we even liked the trip on the little walkway which leads to the Village. I'm only writing this, because it could be informative to some people.

The Staff is super friendly and try to accommodate our wishes.

They didn't offer shampoo :( there was only shower gel. I asked for it and they told they don't have it I found it super weird that there is nothing to wash your hair....

Wonderful

One of the best places , I have stayed in a long time . Breakfast was exceptional. We took a room with the mountain view and it was great. We did not use the pool this time due to activities we had planned .

The beds was not very comfortable as I ended up having back ache . Additional the WiFi was the worst, but since we did not stay for longer in the room it was manageable

it is really well located for both zugspitze or garmisch Classic.

the pool and sauna were open only until 19:00 .. we had to rush to enjoy it specially if you come down from the zugspitze. for longer stays is maybe fine but if you come for a ski weekend is difficult

Pecect rest after a day in town or on slopes

Amazing views and wonderfully peaceful. Honesty bar a nice plus. Staff left sparking wine in room to celebrate new years. All staff especially breakfast team went above and beyond when they could.

Due to early start of trail running activities I would not have been able to attend the normal breakfast but the team at the hotel had "to-go" breakfast available and delivered to my room the day before. Very proper breakfast that kept me fully fueled during morning hours. Thanks for the great extra effort. Relaxed vibe of the location. The complementary area bus literally stops in front of the door.

Good selection of comp thee in the room upon arrival but no coffee for those that need a bit of caffeine.
