A fantastic stay

We had a wonderful experience at the Zugspitz Hotel Diana Thörle. It was the perfect place to stay in Ehrwald for our short hiking trip. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous — we've experienced such warm hospitality at only a few places. They arranged a lovely buffet breakfast for us, and thanks to their support, we were able to successfully complete our hike to Seebensee. They provided weather updates and helped us with planning, which made a big difference. As for the accommodation, we booked a two-room apartment with a kitchen and a balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the breathtaking mountain views was a highlight of our stay. There’s a local bus service (refer to the pics attached) to and from Ehrwald town, but since it runs infrequently, it's important to plan accordingly. If we’re traveling through southern Germany or nearby Austria again, we would definitely love to return here.

The most relaxing stay with everything you need

We had very nice time. The room was very clean and equipped with everything that was needed. The staff were super nice and helpful. We had fresh bread in the morning and we loved it. Also the sauna and Jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing. Highly recommended!

The apartment is in a very beautiful location. The hosts are very friendly and help you whenever needed. The hosts are always available. There were all basic necessities in the apartment. We would definitely visit again.

Exceptional

Very nice hosts, kind and always ready to help. The hotel is beautiful & traditional from outside, but very morden and convenient inside. The apartment is very clean, with nice view to the mountains. We also enjoyed the garden of the hotel, and the nearby hiking path.

Nice apartment with great view and friendly staff. Much better than similar prices in the German side. The bus is also close and there are parking spaces available. Definitely recommend it for families and couples to enjoy the beautiful city of Ehrwald and to hike in the area of the Zugspitze.

Cozy apartment with beautiful view

We loved the view from the balcony! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the apartment was cozy and super clean. It was a great location to have as base for daily hikes. Staying in Zugspitzhotel Diana Thörle was probably my favorite part of our holiday. Would love to come back in winter one day!

Fantastoc view from the window, sauna is great. A quiet place to sleep.

The matress is a bit old I think, which feels not quite flat, and the pillow is a bit low. Breakfast is a bit simple. Wifi was not stable.

Gemoedelijk hotel met Oostenrijkse gastvrijheid. Heerlijk appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Prima plek voor wintersport vakantie. Mogen genieten van heerlijk ontbijt, het ontbrak ons aan niets. Sauna is prachtig! Prettig verblijf! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Raczej trzeba mieć samochód, bo ze wsi na piechotę trzeba przejść spory kawałek, jest bezpłatny parking

Fijne accommodatie voor een actieve vakantie

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, super gastvrij. Locatie is goed in de zomer en in de winter. Fijn appartement met fatsoenlijke bedden en zitgelegenheid. Wifi is top. Vlakbij het dorp en sport-en wandelfaciliteiten.

Er is geen airco, als het erg warm is dan is dat wel een aandachtspunt

Ein wunderbarer Ort! Die Gastgeberin des Hotels ist großartig und sorgt dafür, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, mit frischer Bettwäsche. Der Blick aus dem Fenster ist atemberaubend. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Fijne gezinsvakantie

Fijne en rustige locatie met zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Ons appartement was goed. Niet luxe, maar gewoon wat je nodig hebt voor een week skiën. De kinderen sliepen in een soort verlaagde nis en dat vonden ze geweldig. Gaf hen het gevoel van een eigen hut. Er was een goede ruimte om de ski's en schoenen te laten drogen en er was een fijne sauna.

De afstand naar de liften, de auto was nodig. Wel stopt er ook direct voor het complex een skibus.
