The family room had a sofa bed and it meant you had to climb over it to get to the toilet in the middle of the night as it went to the wall.

First room was noisy with ventilation system. We complained and were move to another room.

The location of the hotel was great

I booked through your website booking.com for 8 adults and 6 kids consisting of 4 family rooms. 2 of these rooms the sofa bed frames were completely broken to the point the beds would not pull out. All 4 rooms had no bedding for sofa beds which we noticed when we arrived back at the hotel,late that evening after celebrating a 60th birthday. We asked reception for the said bedding to be answered abruptly with the hotel was only booked for 8 adults and that we should have made them aware kids were staying. On your website at time of booking I had booked for 8 adults and 6 kids as I had to enter the kids ages at time of booking. When checking my booking today only 8 adults were shown which wasn’t the case,when I booked through your website,it was booked for the 8 adults and 6 kids. I would not book 4 family rooms for 8 adults. We contacted reception to make them aware of the broken beds as the kids had nowhere to sleep, we were offered another room for one family. The second families kids had to sleep on the floor which is completely unacceptable. In the morning when we explained everything to the staff on duty we were met with arrogant staff,when we said there was no need for him to speak to us in this manner he became aggressive and told us to leave the building. This was very upsetting and extremely distressing for the young kids we had in our party. This visit was a surprise for my mothers 60th birthday to have her full family stay together for one night as it was all she wanted and needed after loosing her husband,our dad at the beginning of September. It’s such a shame this experience really was ruined by the staff at this hotel. Unfortunately I definitely won’t be returning here.

Cheap and easy stay if travelling for work, plenty of parking, free breakfast.

Woken up throughout the night by people walking up and down the corridors opening and closing doors. Rooms could do with some sound proofing.

The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and very welcoming throughout our stay. Parking was convenient and easy, which was a big plus.

The room was not as spacious as it appeared in the pictures and wasn’t very comfortable. Cleanliness could also be improved.

One of the worst experiences in a long time. Mattress springs were digging in my ribs. Had stains on walls and mould in bathroom. Assuming they put us in the worst room due to having pets but charged extra £25 for what? Such a bad choice for staying there, regret paying £81+25 for such poor experience. Could hear the guy next door coughing during the night and someone kept slamming doors and wake us up.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, creating a really nice atmosphere. The breakfast was good and topped up regularly and fresh.

the sofa bed was uncomfortable for our 16year old, he said he could feel the springs through the mattress. The room was on the tight side for the sofa bed.

Excellent location & comfy beds!

Noisy morning cleaning staff. One lady was very loud shouting in the corridor. Could respect the guests that may still be sleeping.

Really convenient place to stop over on a long drive from Manchester to the Scottish highlands . Handy and easy to get to and from the motorway . Breakfast is included in the price so it’s pretty good value for money . Nice little bar area too

I liked the value for money that we got. Hotel was clean, accessible, the staff were friendly, and it was in a good location. Definitely would use them again!

Maybe would be good to have a microwave and fridge in the room, but I guess that’s against regulations probably.

There were lot of people running barefoot and in there PJs through hallway and restaurant that should be restricted. Not nice if you have breakfast or dinner and someone sitting barefoot and in pyjamas next to you

Double bed with sofa bed in room was good but unfortunately could not use a travel cot. Room too small. Only negative if you are a family of 4

Lovely friendly staff , extra t-bags and milk given when asked. The staff kept my medication in their fridge with no issues. Comfortable beds , good for parking and close to m&ds . Value for money. Our room was cleaned after the first night which was a lovely surprise to come back into.

The shower wouldn't stay in the right position, there's not much room to get past when the pull down bed is made up .
