The location and friendly receptionist. Clean, comfy beds!

The huge potholes on entry, which damaged my car. Very dated and a strange smell to the room. Also, the door in of the room next to us was getting kicked in. Toilet didn’t flush, and lights in bathroom took awhile to turn on properly.

Great location with friendly staff. Ok for what we wanted.

A little tired and not the cleanest. A pair of socks were left behind by the previous guests. Paint was peeling everywhere and ceilings were a bit mouldy in the bathrooms. Smelled like a brewery in the corridors, I think someone may have spilt beer.

Clean, comfortable and cheap 😊

This was a clean and comfortable stop over on our journey. Special thanks to the lovely lady who waited for us to arrive (very late!) and was so friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was a little tired and needed some TLC, however it was clean and comfortable and for the price we had no complaints.

We didn't expect anything more than a basic room, but this one fell below our expectations.

The bed was clean

The room smelled of stale food and cigarettes. The heating didn't work and we had to request a different heater. The chain on the door was broken and couldn't be repaired until the following morning. The bathroom had cobwebs behind the door. The main counter top was sticky.

the room was for disabled persons so had a reasonable amount of space around most facilities. It had the usual provision of kettle and TV.

The bathroom was in need of a proper refit. Surfaces had been covered with a plastic film which was unsticking itself. The sink was low, no doubt for a wheel chair person but could have had shelving near by for items.

No breakfast at hotel, but next door was a Costa and a McDonalds.

Overall the hotel was good and staff were very friendly. The hotel just needs upgrading as carpet in room has stains and bathroom outdated and needs modernisation!

I’ve stayed at the Days Inn in Hamilton several times recently, and it’s consistently delivered a clean, functional, and friendly experience. The location is very convenient for Glasgow and the surrounding area, making it a practical choice for short visits or overnight stops. Parking has never been a problem, with plenty of space available in both the car and lorry parks. The rooms themselves are always clean, tidy, and well-maintained. They’re not luxurious, but they’re perfectly adequate for a motel — comfortable and practical. Check-in has always been smooth, and staffing is sufficient. I’ve been greeted by the same desk attendant on all of my recent visits (a native of Lanarkshire with a suspiciously English accent!) and he’s a real credit to the place: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming to every guest.

The building is OK, but the grounds and car park are... not exactly welcoming, but they do the job. I’m always frustrated by how difficult it is to access the site from the southbound carriageway. I know this is outside the hotel’s control, but it really ought to be easier than it is. The biggest letdown is the food situation: the only option on-site is a McDonald’s, and prices are predictably inflated due to its motorway service location. It’s disappointing if you’re hoping for more variety or value.

It served the purpose what we needed for getting to Glasgow early for an event on the Saturday.

Room was clean enough and on the ground floor which was great for me with a heart condition, check in and out was very easy.

Table lamp at desk wasn't working as there was no switch on it. No switch on the bed lamp on 1 side of the bed just a hole where it was meant to be and there was a fairly long rip in the carpet in front of the leg of the desk.

Would most definitely not stay there again. Two weeks

I did not have breakfast.

I had the most awful night from 3 am onwards. Men were banging doors, shouting, knocking on doors. Also all departing traffic heavy lorries and cars all passed my window and shook the building. A refrigerated lorry was parked opposite my window. Sleep was impossible . I had a 200 mile drive the next day and didn't feel safe to be on the road through lack of sleep. I should be entitled to a refund, it was a truly awful experience. The housekeeper was supposed to ring me but I am still waiting to hear anything from anyone.

It was a perfect fit for what I needed. Value for money and location. At such cheap prices I am not expecting the Hilton, but I had value with lovely staff, easy access, clean and comfortable beds and generally quite quiet.

Handy for an overnight stay on a long journey.

Great for an overnight stay when you’re on a long journey, right by the motorway so easily accessible. McDonald’s, Costa and WHSmith right next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is definitely in need of an upgrade. Not the best sound proofing as could hear everything from adjacent rooms. Room was cleanish but could of done do with a deep clean.

An absolute nightmare

Location was handy. Courtney, night receptoonist was lovely and helpful.

It was an awful experience. Rude receptionist at check in. Told me I didnt have a reservation. Tried to charge me £50 for bringing the dog. She was arrogant and had a bad attitide. Wouldnt let me speak to or contact a manager. Came to our room having a go at us on the landing for making a complaint. Tried to back track on what she had said and done The night Receptionist, Courtney, was lovely and helped us I am still waiting for a resolution and to speak to Wyndham and Site Manager. Smell of weed in reception hall and stairs and stairwell

I couldn't wait for morning to come and leave, there was a bad smell in the room, not to mention the bathroom, we could barely sleep because we saw two spiders, I would say very frustrated.

Room #13 Poor maintenance of bathroom. Mild due on ceiling, tissue holder fixed on door which was broken and hanging. Risk of injury to kids and people using it. Skirting boards in bathroom were broken. Quality of bed and cot were very very poor and cause backache. NOT WORTH £116 a night
