Hassop Station rooms on the Monsal Trail

Room was comfortable and nicely clean. Perfect for a pleasant overnight stay.

All the door and codes could be confusing, but at least it is secure.

Always a quiet comfy stay

Clean and stylish. Lovely room. Good tea and coffee facilities and fridge. Even though it was on a roundabout the secondary glazing provided good sound proofing. Breakfast is in the neighbouring cafe, which was nice but very different from a usual b and b

No en-suite. It probably said that in the blurb but didn’t notice. Unusual for a b and b these days to have no en-suite. It did have a private bathroom but you have to go out in the communal hall to access it. Perhaps some robes would be a good idea

Good choice of breakfast, usually very good but the food was cold on one occasion. Good service by cafe staff. Bathroom was well appointed and spacious. It was good to have a fridge in our room. Comfortable bed and room was clean. Room was in a convenient location for walking.

Room was not serviced during our 3 night stay. 5 teabags for 3 days did not last long - china mugs became very stained. Coffee bags were very good but again only 2 decaf sachets left. Nowhere to dry towels (not allowed to put on radiator). One blind was broken, room had 3 windows and lacked privacy - everyone could look in on their way to the front door. Bedroom smelt stale, bathroom smelt of drains - sink gurgled as though pipe blocked, shower trap could not cope with water flow so probably needs cleaning out. Lack of staff on site meant there was no one to sort out the minor issues which would have improved our stay.
