Nice quaint hotel

Very nice, clean, modern alpine hotel with an excellent restaurant acting as a lobby. It was very easy to get into and out of the property and down to a nearby town. In terms of the family suite - there was plenty of space although furniture was very sparce.

There was confusion on how many people would be staying and the staff was bothered that it was two adults and two kids - ultimately an issue with the booking system. The staff did use this as an opportunity to charge more which was uncomfortable - however if we had spoken the local language, I am confident that it would have been easier to come to an agreement. Ultimately, I would stay again.

No breakfast - no coffee - rude service. The place was comfy and clean, but the service was terrible

There was no breakfast. There was no coffee. The "host" rudely informed off that the staff needed a day off too, so there was nothing available for us in the morning. He directed us to a gas station 3 km down the road if we wanted coffee.

The staff member who was serving us in the restaurant was not at all interested in hospitality. He clearly would have rather been anywhere else. He was banging things around and making a lot of loud noises, obviously trying to get us to leave. This person has a lot to learn about customer service.

Location was excellent and staff was helpful with check-in. Overall building and the place is clean with clasic basic standard refurbished. If they will fix few things, I thing they can get 10 points from 10.

Smell in the room was nasty, possible a problem with sewage system and under the bed looks like for months nobody clean that area. Few fixing are not properly installed.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is really great. The room was clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff kindly provided detailed instructions for check-in, even though it was later than the standard time mentioned in the booking details. This was very helpful and greatly appreciated. We also liked that it’s possible to stay with a dog — this made our trip much easier and more comfortable.

Balcony view is awesome, don't miss it!!!!

We drive by ourselves and have no problem for finding this good hotel. Ground floor is a restaurant and bar, they hae super good value selections and can order and send to room directly. It made my day when we just completed a long hiking. Staff is really nice and sweet. Balcony view is awesome, don't miss it!!!!

There was nobody readily available at front desk, you had to send a server to get someone. Might be helpful to add a bell so the front desk is aware when a guest is there.

Excellent location if you like to visit Salzburg and Berchtesgaden

- great mountain view, nice terrace for outside breakfast and dining - comfortable room, spacious bathroom - room is very well soundproofed against road traffic - but only if the windows are shut - multiple choices of breakfast, restaurant option for dinner - only a short car trip away from Salzburg

- some hours of the day the restaurant kitchen odors were noticeable from the room, perhaps the kitchen would benefit from a better ventilation system

Super friendly and helpful stuff. spacious room, the smell of wood from which the balcony was built(!), view, everything :) the place is directly at the german alpin road so you hear the traffic but it's ok if you need a perfect starting point for exploration of the region. thank you Wurznwirt for such a nice stay :)

Everything was great, nothing to complain. Very clean, spacy room with nice balcony, wi-fi worked well. Good location, circa 25 minutes by car to the parking of Kehlsteinhaus and Königsee. All of the staff hospitable and welcoming. Thank you.

All in all, we felt at home and appreciated the friendly service.

The place was very clean and modern. I liked the spacious bathroom and fridge in the room. The main dining area/restaurant was nice and spacious too. The surrounding area is quite pretty and you can take nice hikes without having to drive anywhere. I requested an extra pillow one morning and, when I arrived at the hotel later in the day, found an extra one on our bed.

One of our beds was not very uncomfortable. There were no reading lights next to the main bed. If you wanted to read at night, you had to turn on the overhead lights.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die Ausstattung war ganz okay. Das Essen war sehr lecker, ebenso wie die Getränke. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, vorallem die beiden jungen Frauen waren wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Grösse der Zimmer ausreichend.

Die Betten waren leider sehr weich, aber das ist ja nunmal Geschmackssache. Das Frühstück hat zum Teil lange gemauert, war auch relativ teuer für das was es gibt. Aber geschmacklich sehr gut.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

Ein sehr uriger kleiner Gasthof, sehr gemütlich und super gelegen um Ausflüge nach Berchtesgaden oder Österreich zu unternehmen. Parkplatz kostenfrei direkt am Gasthof. Leider konnten wir dieses Mal das leckere Essen im Restaurant nicht genießen da Ruhetag war.

Absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Ein modernes Zimmer, absolut sauber mit einem geräumigen Bad. Das Personal war sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Das Abendessen war sehr schmackhaft und der Wirtsraum ist hell und freundlich zum Wohlfühlen gestaltet.

Beim Frühstück ist noch etwas Luft nach oben. Dosenobst beim Joghurt war nicht das Niveu wie der Rest

Wunderschöner Ausblick auf Berge....

Alles hübsch renoviert, gemütliches Restaurant, leckeres Essen, bequeme Matratze, gutes Frühstück zu fairem Preis, welches man bei schönem Wetter auch auf der Terrasse in der Sonne genießen kann.

Die stark befahrene Straßen direkt am Hotel. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist eigentlich unmöglich. Schade, da das Hotel ansonsten wirklich empfehlenswert ist.
