Everything perfect
I really liked the hotel and the room. The breakfast was excellent and well organized, with a special table assigned based on the room number.
Most of the staff were very kind, although one gentleman during our check-in could have been a bit more helpful and warm when providing information.
I also appreciated the free parking. The room was very charming, with a nice bathroom, clean spaces, and perfect decoration. The hotel’s location in nature, surrounded by greenery, was wonderful.
We are very satisfied with our stay. Thank you for everything!

All around great experience
There was an open air festivity one evening across the street wirh terrible, loud unmitigated music. I wouldn't. have mind if the tuned down around-say- 11-12pm. But they continued till 4am , rendering sleep impossible. That was a bit rough. Not the fault of the Hotel though. Guess unlucky Timing.

We were a family of four staying in one room for one night on our way to the south. Nice room, very clean, great breakfast. Staff was friendly.
After a long day of traveling, some bad weather and traffic jams along the way, we arrived shortly (i.e., minutes) after the kitchen had closed for the day (8.30pm). Although we had booked half-board and, earlier that day, indicated an arrival time between 8 and 9pm via Booking.com, we were told there was no dinner since "everything has been cleaned already" and we could drive to the pizzeria in the neighboring village....
Fortunately, the receptionist refunded the cost of the dinner the next morning. Still, a phone call and perhaps a bite to eat kept for us would have gone a long way the day before.

The rooms were updated in wondeful bavarian modern style. Bathrooms updatedand walk in showers. Very clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good.

Hotel Alpenglück
After a recent stay in this hotel here is our feedback.
First, the hotel is very nice. The renovations are very well done, the rooms spacious and clean, and the breakfast was wonderful.
However, the entire stay was ruined by one member of the staff. I will say everyone in the hotel was nice, helpful, and friendly. But the manager, Frau Ute Lohmann, was very unfriendly from the very beginning. She wasn’t willing to listen, and she gave us information that was simply not true.
1. We booked through booking.com because it was easy. There were a lot of choices in the area, but this place stood out because it was beautiful and well-located. I reserved two rooms for a total of 4 people. I noticed that there were no accessible rooms, so I contacted the hotel in writing and asked if I could get one on a lower floor without a lot of stairs. The answer was yes, so I then called the hotel and spoke to a man and asked how many stairs were there to the first-floor room. His answer was that there were only a few. This was not true, there were 19 steps to our room up a steep staircase. The handrail ended before the start of the bottom stair and did not go all the way to the top of the highest stair. This made it very difficult for me to hold on and I almost fell twice. My husband rescued me.
2. My husband spoke to Frau Lohmann about the shower because we had requested a walk-in shower. It was and easy to access. However, she told him that she had a person in a wheelchair use it – how can this possibly be true? How did they get a wheelchair up all of those stairs?
3. There was no television or Wi-Fi as advertised. We asked for a discount from Frau Lohmann and were told absolutely not in a very unfriendly manner. She claimed to be a businesswoman who didn’t want to lose money. If I don’t get the advertised services, I expect to get a discount.
4. The lights in our bedroom didn’t work. We were told that an electrician couldn't fix it.

Very good
The location is excellent, close to several attractions. The room was spotless clean and very spacious, coffee and tea included, even snacks for dogs :) Parking right in front of the hotel and great dinner options served at the hotel´s terrace.
You can hear every noise coming from the hallway, especially when children are running up and down the stairs.
Also, we had an unpleasant experience during breakfast. Apparently you cannot sit wherever you like, which no one told us at the reception or when entering the breakfast room. We had to move to a table assigned to our room and a passive aggressive staff member acted as if it was our fault that we didn´t know that.
The staff was very courteous and efficient, the room was very clean, but the mattresses were quite worn.
Hotels in this area are quite pricey.
The food was okay, the Knödel were somewhat stale. The beer, though, was excellent.

The hosts are very nice. The restaurant serves traditional dishes, terrace with mountain view, so relaxing. The room is clean and bed is comfy. We slept very well. A bit expensive for such a room, but this part of Bavaria is a very touristic place, so fair enough.
Would be great to have a hot option for breakfast - fried eggs or porridge.

Het is een rustig hotel direct aan de hoofdweg, maar van de weg heb je totaal geen last. In de ochtend een goed ontbijt en in de avond een kleine kaart, maar wel met voortreffelijke gerechten.

Ci sarebbe da migliorare il menu del ristorante con una piu ampia scelta .
Abbiamo scelto la formula della mezza pensione il giorno di Natale e devo dire che conoscendo la cucina tedesca , non e stata all'altezza .
Gli orari da far ridere alle 20:00 bisogna essere fuori dal ristorante perchè chiudono !

Ein super Aufenthalt, mit super Essen.
Wir waren für 1 Woche im Hotel und hatten Halbpension gebucht. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und gemütlich.
Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und lecker.
Der Knaller ist das Abendessen und der nette Koch. Jeden Abend hatten wir ein 4 Gänge Menü , vom allerfeinsten. Echt der Knaller. Der Nachtisch war liebevoll angerichtet.
Auch kam der Koch jeden Abend aus der Küche und fragte ob alles in Ordnung war und unterhielt sich mit den Gästen.
Das Rezept für die Füllung meiner Gans zu Weihnachten bekam ich von ihm. Danke.
Das Personal war super nett und wir haben jeden Abend viel gelacht.
Man kann auch viel in der Umgebung unternehmen.( Klammbesuchen, Alte Saline, Therme,Wandern und nach Österreich ist es auch nicht Weit)

Personal sehr freundlich.
Beim Frühstück nicht so viel Auswahl eher gut genug.
Das Zimmer ist schmutzig bzw viel zu viel Staub und die Toilette auch nicht am besste Niveau.
Dann die Schlauch von Dusche war kaputt und die Duscheablauf war zu, aber Problem hat die Personal schnell behebt.

Nie wieder Hotel DEVA Alpenglück !!!
Nichts.
Wir hatten ÜN mit Halbpension gebucht. Bei Ankunft am 7.11. wurden wir darüber informiert, dass das Restaurant wegen technischer Probleme geschlossen werden musste (vom 3. bis 25.11.). Bis 4.11. hätten wir die Buchung kostenlos stornieren können. Leider wurden wir vorab nicht darüber informiert. Als Alternative wurde uns angeboten das Abendessen in einem anderen Restaurant (der gleichen Kette) in etwa 15 Autominuten Entfernung einzunehmen oder die Buchung auf ÜN mit Frühstück zu ändern. Eine kostenlose Stornierung wurde rigoros abgelehnt. Daher können wir von einer Buchung in diesem Haus nur abraten - guter Kundenservice sieht anders aus.
BOOKING.COM dagegen war bei der Behandlung dieses Problems und der Lösungsfindung wesentlich kooperativer und freundlicher.

So muss ein Hotel sein...deutscher Standard als Luxus für den/die "kleinen Mann/Frau"
+ sehr freundlicher Umgang und Wertschätzung
+ top ausgestattete Zimmer, sehr sauber, heißes Wasser mit ordentlich Druck (ist ja nunmal nicht überall so)
+ extrem gemütliche Betten (obwohl die Matratze recht weich ist)
+ sehr üppiges, regionales und ausgewogenes Frühstücksbuffet
+ alles sehr modern und gepflegt in rustikalem Alpencharme
+ Lage hervorragend gelegen mit Blick in die Berge, auch beim wach werden
+ Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen...leckeres Essen und gutes Bier
+ sehr kinderfreundlich
