Overnight stop

Have stayed here on several occasions when travelling through Europe, convenient just off motorway, restaurant open during week days. Comfortable rooms, large beds, decent bathroom.

The outside of the building could do with a lick of paint, which doesn't match the much better interior.

The location and the room were fine but the issue with the evening meal was disappointing.

The location was very good being close to the motorway. Although the breakfast was mainly continental and provided a good selection, the cooked breakfast was more limited.

When we booked in, the receptionist was very nice and helpful. She informed us the times the restaurant was open for the evening meal and breakfast, what she forgot to mention however was the fact that the restaurant was actually closed that evening so when we Sent down to the restaurant for dinner we were surprised and disappointed to discover that the restaurant was closed and the only food on offer was frozen pizza. Had we known about this earlier we would have gone elsewhere for our meal, other guests were faced with the same problem. I should say though that we stayed a this location a few weeks earlier and had no issues.

Nice pool and nice breakfasts, 15 min from city in an uber.

Nearest shops are a 20 min walk but it’s not a big deal.

Long wait for the check in and not really clean rooms

The only positive thing was the beds and free parking.

Although we informed the hotel that we will arrive late midnight, there were no staff at the reception and we had to wait for more than half an hour. The bathroom was not clean properly as there were hairs on the floor and the carpet was very dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable.

Staff great, food good. Property ok but needs investment.

It’s well laid out and comfortable with a few nice items of furniture. The rooms are clean and the linen is good. The staff were all helpful and polite. The food is good (especially the steak) but the desserts were frozen and not properly thawed.

It’s tired, needs a refurb in many areas. The corridor carpets have a funny smell and are very dated. The bathrooms are clean but need maintenance (toilet seat wobbly and didn’t close fully. The outside area also needs attention around the pool, wobbly tables, most tables & chairs outside need deep cleaning or replacing. Points are not showing on account despite staying twice in one week.

Great place for stopover or visiting Lille.

Very quiet rooms, with comfortable bed and pillow. The rooms are spacious. Easily accessible, close to major higway, perfect place for a stopover. It is also 5mins drive away from a big shopping mall, where you can find plenty of resturants and large supermarket.

It is a long way to get on the same level of Mercure Lille Airport

The employee at the breakfast was very helpful. The lady at the check out was much better than her night collegue. Unfortunately the 1st impression of the girl in the night shift was a complete fail.

You never get a second chance for the first impression. The girl at 2nd June at the reception is in comparison with the last 7 hotels we joined a complete fail. Language skills, an attitude of problme solving have to be developed. Unfortunatly she seems a bit arrogant for people coming in after a hard day out in the forests. Either she is part of the solution, the problem or the landscape. I think for her it is a long way to become part of the landscape. One of our 3 rooms was dirty, especialy the bathroom. So we stayed in 7 different 4-star hotels. Unfortunatly this was the last and a fail.

Bar and restaurant was closed. Ridiculous for a hotel in this day and age. The morning Staff were rude and did not acknowledge me or my fellow travellers. They just carried talking between themselves.

Had a comfortable stay

I had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The room was clean + neatly made up upon my arrival. The bathroom was also clean. The breakfast was well prepared with a wide variety of choices. Used the gym + had what I needed to do my daily training.

The reception could have been friendlier; the service was professional but lacked compassion/friendliness. The gym room is really small (standard room size) and felt a bit hidden away/cramped at the end of the passage on the first floor. The lawns around the hotel could also be more presentable (better maintained)

Spacious hotel, large room, excellent heating and bathroom. Good breakfast.

Payment on arrival. Fair enough. But we then couldn’t charge anything to our room. Using a credit card for two soft drinks seemed silly. The dinner was OK but over-priced.

An excellent stay in a pleasant hotel. It was quiet but very convenient for the autoroute.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was much improved since my last visit and the service was excellent both for the evening meal and breakfast.
