Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need and more. No need to bring washing up sponges/ liquids/ tea towels, all provided. Beds super comfy, and cosy temperature throughout. Decking has a fabulous view of lake, hot tub a joy in the open air countryside. 5 minutes walk to the club house, shop, chippy etc. Julie the host, was so so friendly and really helpful. Stay was terrific and will definitely return.

The property has everything you need for a family holiday in a great location for us as we liked being a little bit further out it was so quiet and peaceful Maybe not so good if you don’t like a longer walk to central facilities but it was perfect for us. The views across the lake were gorgeous

The small bed rooms are very small but that is to be expected. Just something to note Also do not expect phone signal but also remember it’s good not to have you phone for a while

This lodge was advertised as wheelchair accessible, which we assumed would mean that it was wheelchair friendly, unfortunately we were wrong. The only accessible part was the ramp to the decking area, there is threshold on the outside doors which make it tricky to gain access. We took a girl who was fully wheelchair bound and it is impossible to gain entry into the bedrooms or the bathroom as the corridor and doorways are too narrow, there is a note that highlights the corridor width, but it is towards the back of the photo gallery. The slimline wheelchair shown is totally inadequate for this wheelchair user as she has complex needs. I had to manually lift her through the doorway and onto the bed, it was totally impossible for her to use the bathroom. If this is to be advertised as wheelchair accessible, then these issues should be highlighted in the description. We stayed at Tattershall last year in a fully wheelchair friendly caravan which met all our wheelchair needs, unfortunately this is no longer available, and we believed that this would be laid out in a similar manner to meet our needs, unfortunately it did not.
