Communication from Julie the host was fab she couldn’t of been more helpful, waking up to the lake view was so beautiful especially after an amazing sleep in the extremely comfortable double bed :) there’s nothing they didn’t have in the lodge (utensils/appliances even a variety of board games that kept us entertained but being two adults we made them into drinking games and had such a laugh:) The pub next to the site is beautiful and has a lovely range of food and drinks.

As it was out of season there wasn’t any activities running and only one bar/restaurant and arcade open but we were refused entry to these until we paid the price of £95 for the passes when we only wanted to go in for a drink. I think the price is steep considering it’s out of season, we took a trip into the local village (woodhall spa) instead where there was a cinema in the woods and a few nice pubs/ restaurants. Also if you don’t mind a 50 min drive we drove to Skegness which I would highly recommend, lovely fun seaside town :)

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The place felt so peaceful and welcoming. Julie was absolutely lovely she was so sweet, friendly, and gave clear, accurate instructions. She really made our stay special. Highly recommended!

The location was lovely on the lake, lodge lovely and clean, very well equipped. The hot tub was great. Julie very friendly and helpful. Loved the goslings with mum and dad. Peaceful setting.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful 3 bedroom lodge with a ramp.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet with it just being a bit away from the main complex. Loved the view of the lake and most of all loved watching the Typhoons flying over the lodge from the decking. and was at the spotters carpark every day.

No problems with the property, drinks a little expensive on site. Lots to do though. Quite noisy with the RAF base in close proximity, but you get used to it and it can be quite entertaining.

Perfect location, amazing holiday home

The view was incredible, the hot tub was pre heated for us and the holiday home was packed with essential items so you don’t have to bring your own cooking equipment.

The holiday home could have done with abit more cleaning but overall it wasn’t too bad 7/10 for the cleanliness.

Fabulous

Our first trip to the lodge, it far exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, on arrival we were met by Julie who explained the use of the hot tub, showed us where everything was, all the accessible accessories were waiting as promised and she spent time sharing local knowledge. It was lovely to meet someone understanding to my mum’s disabilities and checking everything was okay. Very dog friendly lodge, and our little pug was also welcomed with open arms. The lodge directly overlooked the lake, it was fabulous to watch the Lancaster flying over and the Typhoon jets doing practice manoeuvres. Lovely lodge, cannot wait to return.

There was nothing we didn’t like! Outside of the owners control, but if you could guarantee sun every day Paul, we couldn’t ask for more! 😃

Superb Lodge, perfect for a break away with the family.

This property is in a perfect location overlooking the lake opposite the main complex, close enough to hear the music but far enough away not to be too loud. The property is very modern inside with everything you need. It has a very Spacious Decking Area with Large Hot Tub where you get a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening.

The location of this lodge is perfect its has massive windows so veiws of lakes are amazing even on cold rainy days and open plan layout eveything has been thought of theres games for rainy days a 6 person hot tub ..soft beds fully stocked kitchen coffee maker the owner and staff were acomadating and reply to messages right away where was disabled access as well as shower chair and wedge cusions for extra hight on sofas if u like planes u can watch the typhoons take off and do there manovers like a privite air show ! Can be a little loud but it was a highlight for us we will be coming back and will hopfully be able to book this lodge again ..]
