Being on the lake was amazing the views were phenomenal

The decking area wasn't what I call on par with the actual property, due to being right underneath trees they blew leaves and bits all over the table and chairs on the decking the Hot tub constantly had bits going into which made it very uninviting.

The views. The hot tub. How cosy the cabin was. The fact it’s pet family.

The spa on site. Don’t use! Went as a group of 6. Booked a spa treatment each costing £400. Day after one of us booked another treatment costing £65.they booked the last slot at 5pm. In the morning woke up with a D&V bug. Phoned and cancelled straight away and they said they would loose £35 of the payment paid because we hadn’t given 48 hours notice, even though we booked it in less than 48hours. They said we could still come with the bug and they’d be happy to keep stopping if a toilet break is needed!

Well below expectation

The view and location.

The cabin was filthy, had not had a deep clean for months! Very dated, especially bed linen, and we all said the linen had not been changed after the last guests, I slept on top of my dressing gown, the smell was disgusting, I dreaded going to bed, also states adult bunks! So very uncomfortable, my partner slept on the sofa for 2 nights. Cobwebs everywhere, even thick on the bottom bunks slats. Debris under beds. Disgusting oven. Dirty dishes and cutlery. Blinds broken and so grubby. Floors filthy, especially in the corners, expelair in kitchen foul! Needs updating, charging big bucks for what is now unacceptable cleanliness levels, even budget accommodation is clean, this was not budget. Didn't complain at the time as we were only staying a couple of nights for my daughters 40th, and did not want people coming in, we went out more than usual so not to be in the cabin for long amounts of time. Toilet not working properly, having to wait to press the flush again. Dishwasher rubbish, crockery came out dirtier than it went in. We have stayed in Tattershall many times and each accommodation was immaculate, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. So upset it spoilt our stay, we will never book with Sykes again, I'm shocked Sykes do not check these properties more often, I feel I've wasted my hard earned money as we did not enjoy our break.

Relaxing in luxury surroundings and accomodation

Fantastic lodge with a fantastic view over the lake. We had a Heron land on our patio area and we watched bats fly over the lake every night. The accommodation was brilliant, clean, well equipped and comfy beds! Highly recommended.

not much cupboard space to put our food in. It was difficult to watch the tv on a night before dark as there was no curtain across the patio doors to block out the light but it did not spoil our holiday.

Beautiful.

Amazing stay 10/10 such a beautiful lodge with the most amazing views to wake up in the morning. Very clean and homely will definitely be returning. Tattershall country park pub is worth a visit was lovely food would highly recommend. We also visited a little town about 4 miles down the road with the most amazing cake shop. Thank you again

Great short break!

If you’ve ever imagined a cabin and its coziness and warmth, then our stay was exactly that. Despite the weather being it’s usual grizzly self, we found solace in the cabin. The picturesque views of the lake and Tattershall Castle were wonderful to wake up to. BBQ’s on the deck and being able to sit in the relaxing jets of the hot tub felt like a true getaway. We were looked after right from the beginning so it felt like home from home. The cabin was clean and cosy. Seeing the RAF fly overhead was a nice surprise too! Overall, we had a relaxing experience and already planning our next trip! Thank you to John and Zoe for having us and again big thank you for your help with the "keys" :))

Beutiful lodge in beautiful place, we would stay here again

Teal Lodge is beautiful and comfortable, located in quiet part of Tattershall Lakes village. Facilities were great and we enjoyed spending evenings watching beautiful sunsets while in hot tub.

Although the lodge is beautiful it requires a good clean, there were lots of cobwebs and patio was covered in leaves and garden furniture in bird poo, so unfortunately we had to clean it ourselves. the patio might have been cleaned before our arrival, the lodge is surrounded by trees and there are lots of birds, so it is just nature. Also the lodge is near jetski lake, and we enjoyed watching jetskis but they don’t stop all day, so we got a bit tired of the noise at the end, but they do stop around 6pm.

Loved it 8 years ago and loved it this weekend

We stayed here 8 years ago for my husband’s 30th and my childrens birthdays with family last time ,it was lovely then and we’ve done the same again this year for my childrens 16th and 13th birthdays there’s nothing to complain about it’s still as lovely then as it is now we’ve loved it. The hot tub could do with a wind breaker as it’s lovely and warm but the wind on your face is ice cold in the winter months 🙈😂it’s a very clean and spacious cabin and will defo book again thank you to John and Zoe for letting us have it over the weekend. There was nothing we didn’t like it’s a fabulous cabin and John and Zoe was on hand and very helpful when we couldn’t get the heating on 🙈😂more like we just didn’t have a clue how to turn it on 😂but once it was on it was like home from home and very cosy
