For what we wanted it was fine but not to have use of one the major reasons we booked the van in the hot tub was disappo

For 3 lads who just wanted to go out on walks it was perfect for what we needed

When we got in on the Friday a quick check round the caravan found cleanliness wasn’t what we expected the sofa was heavily stained but as we only really wanted to technically sleep at the van it wasn’t a major issue. When we got back to the van about 21.30 we thought we’d have a quick dip in the hot tub only to find the water was dirty and being filled by a cold water hose which needed pliers to turn off as the tub was overflowing. The filter cover was broken and it clearly hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests as there was an empty beer can and glass still in there. So we didn’t use the hot tub until I had been out and brought a couple of chlorine tablets the following day

Great value for money, great host. Cant go wrong for a few nights away

Perfect location, great hot tub. Nigel was very accommodating, we realised there wasn’t enough bedding & although Nigel was a couple of hours drive away, he rang round other caravans & sourced some bedding for us. I think the group who stayed before us left a right mess for Nigel to sort out, despite this, everything was clean & tidy when we arrived.

Brilliant for relaxing

The van its self was perfect for myself, partner and dog. Had everything I needed. If I had kids with me I would of liked wifi, smart tv and air fryer to make it easier.

Site fees for entertainment passes are very expensive for winter periods and being 2 adults we only wanted to go to bar for a few drinks so £150 was too much.....we found a bar in the village and the landlord was nice and showed us a better walk to park than the main road.

Cleanliness was an issue. Bikes were not good. Lots of dog mess around the caravan. Fixtures and fittings were dated and needed replacing. Kitchen floor ripped, dirt on all doors rips in net curtains, drawing on wall in one of the smaller bedrooms. We got on with it as only there for 2 nights but was very disappointed.

Almost but not quite

Cheap and was a last-minute booking. Basic but just enough if you're out a lot

Not as clean as I would like, beds not made, I arrived late 10pm with children and had to start putting bedding on 4 bedrooms. This is a pretty basic thing I would expect done. No towels and advert doesn't state either way if they are included or not. Not much in the way of facilities in kitchen, it's basic but just enough. Some cooker rings will not light. No WiFi apart from park WiFi which is not enough strength to power the smart TV. Pictures on the advert are not the pictures of the caravan but it looks better. Everything needs updating as what you paid for is actually different. Advert says 3 bedroom when it's actually 4. It just overall needs some TLC and a really deep clean to bring it back to standard. Doors and windows really mucky, alot of lights outside around decking do not work. After booking I read the other reviews and see similar feedback. It wouldn't take much to turn 100% of your reviews into positives. Just a few tweaks are needed.

4 bed not 3 bed.

Good size and was told it was a 3 bed so nice surprise to see a 4 bed ( might be worth changing details in ad) . Hot tub was a nice treat. In arrival main caravan area was clean and tidy. Everything was walking distance. (However might be worth adding position in ad for people with disabilities and struggle with distance )

We arrived 45 mins early and owner came over and said we were too early and lady was coming by to check facilities. We offered to leave he said don’t worry about it. We were disappointed when we found a glass bottle down the side of the hot tub. Dirty pants down the back of the outdoor sofa. Tweezers in the floor next to hot tub. Out door area hadn’t been cleaned / swept at all. The pots inside all had to be cleaned dirty plates and bowls. Dirty knives in the draw very disappointing even after we had offered to leave for the check. One of the folded sheets to go into the bed were stained.

Lovely weekend away!

Excellent place to stay. Busy but quiet on site. 30mins away from Lincoln. There is a lovely pub/restaurant 5 min walk from the caravan. Had a lovely walk around the lake etc but also had the opportunity to relax in the hot tub most days of our stay. Will be booking annually and for more days!

Work men just turning up, walking onto the caravan veranda to do work (We think) not explaining why or what the were doing there and leaving without a word, this happened twice. Not enough seating outside for at least 5/ 6 guests. Could take own chair.

I’ve been coming to Tattershall on numerous occasions has I enjoy the RAF jets and the park itself. Think this time was

The caravan was tidy on arrival (which is expected)!!! Good powerful shower. RAF Jets

The caravan was basic. It needs a good deep clean both inside and definitely outside. Cooking trays were still full of grease (not been washed properly) Strong smell from sinks in kitchen area and both toilet. Fridge was full of rust around the seal and smelt foisty Bedding was very used and bobbly Hot tub was dirty and the bottom was full of sand. Jets didn’t work properly either. The whole decking area was dirty and full of cobwebs and bird poo. Outside furniture was also dirty with rust forming under the glass table. The patio doors wouldn’t close properly has the doors had dropped. And to finish it off there must have been a wasps nest under the caravan cos there was hundreds.

Do not book this caravan

The swimming pool and lido. Absolutely fantastic.

The caravan was disgusting. We had to clean it right through.the seating and carpets were badly stained and smelt awful of wet dogs. The caravan was not the one advertised .I have contacted the owners In regards to a refund and he has fobbed me off saying that he has contacted cleaners in that make a report to him. Not only was the caravan filthy the bedding was absolutely filthy we had to go out and buy sheets and quilt covers .we had rats running up and down the veranda they were nesting under the hot tub. The carpets and upholstery were heavily stained. I told the landlord that I had photographs of the mess it is in but he just put the phone down on me.we had to clean it meticulously as my 2 year old granddaughter as got lung disease we just couldn't let them down as we travelled so far to get there.

Great Stay, would come back

After a little hiccup, that Nigel sorted very quickly we had a great time. The caravan was spotless, and hot tub was ready to go. So much to do onsite, the kids loved the zipwires. Chip shop called Chipmunks for fish & chips Would definitely come back to stay

Sorry to complain but it wasn’t great

The hot tub

When we arrived the property was completely unlocked with no one around, the windows and doors where all open, the hot tub had no water in and filters were out, the beds weren’t made the floor boards where coming up on the decking the floor in kitchen is creaking it was dirty dusty and there were ants everywhere in kids bedrooms So sorry as I don’t like to complain but it wasn’t great , stains all over sheets We left 2 days early

Not very clean, cleaner was just coming out as we got there but I’m sure all he did was change bin and beds and wipe over table. The toilet was dirty. The windersils was black and windows didn’t close properly (mainly kitchen) blinds in kitchen an toilet was filthy

It was good we had wonderful time, but the cleanliness and the dump smell on the bed sheets wasn’t pleasant.

The location its amazing 2year in a row we coming back to Tattershall lakes its beautiful here. The most we like its jacuzzi, hot nice and relaxing, the location its fantastic and quiet.

The property itself really dirty, the first thing what we have done when we came in , we clean. The caravan its a bit tired and have a dump smell. The covers for the bedding had a very strong dump smell, that was really bad. Bbq should be nice to have there too !

Horrible experience, won’t book the caravan again

Nothing , old caravan, needs some attention to everything.

Hot tub was cold and dirty ,settings to hot tub control panel stuck not working.Hot tub only able to fit 4 people too small. Dust everywhere and stains on the chairs. Beds uncomfortable, Owner unapproachable, as rude when we spoke to him first day of arrival.

Situated in a quiet area of the park so location was great. Caravan was clean and tidy. All amenities worked and the hot tub was a great bonus.

I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like but for a suggestion a broom or dustpan and brush would be handy to have.

Lovely location, disappointing stay.

Lovely location and we had a wonderful holiday. I spoke to the owner on the telephone before hand, he was lovely and helpful.

I was disappointed with the caravan, no welcome packs, nothing in the description to tell you that it literally comes with nothing, not even a tea towel or a tea bag! No safety instructions for the hot tub. Curtains were mouldy, cupboards weren't clean and the hot tub was dirty. I honestly don't think it was good value for money. I booked two caravans for two families and the other family had a larger much better caravan. Although that was dirty too.

Lovely relaxing weekend with family

Location quiet compared to other areas on the site so kids could play on the front as minimal traffic. Pet friendly which is great

Only thing I can really say is it wasn’t the cleanest in places, we had to clean the table and glasses/mugs and things as they were visibly dirty and some mould in one of the bedrooms above the headboard but that was a 2 minute job for us to clean and my brother and his kids slept in the living room instead of the bedroom with the mould. It wouldn’t put us off from returning

Idyllic mid week break

Loved the location, we had a caravan that had a view of the lake from the patio doors, lovey to see the ducks and wildlife everyday.

The hot tub was very noisy in middle of night. The double bed was not very comfy, sank in the middle.

Hot tub and location.

Caravan very dated, leaking toilet,scruffy inside. Prices for activities and passes. Price of van too expensive as very dated and untidy. Worse one we stayed in Tattershall. Owner should not be charging top rate for sub standard accommodation. Owner also bad communication.
