crap !

the main reason for going was for the fishing, if i had known before hand that the lake was full of weed and virtually impossible to fish, i would have not paid over £500 for a relaxing weekend to come home more stressed than when i went, if you want to go there to fish dont waste your money, oh look my own private fishing peg,not much good when you cant fish it, feel like ive been robbed by the owners by not telling me about the weed in the lake, oh well to late now, wont be going back thats for sure.

Nicely located on the lakeside - great views over the water. Tattershall is a very big park however this unit is in a relatively peaceful location.

Tattershall does attract a mixed-bag of people - mostly friendly but some were distinctly classless - the facilities were generally really busy but admittedly it WAS school holiday time.

Lovely views, lovely host, clean space!

Loved the location - very clean and the host was very attentive. Stunning views of the lake and to the back of the caravan there was another surrounding Lake with a castle. Not too far away from the entrance and great directions to locate the caravan. There was a gentleman who came and checked the hot tub for us on the first full day of us being there which we thought was great, very friendly and chatty. There was 7 of us and we had an amazing time, the view was stunning on to the lake and very easy to get down to view the lake from our patio area. We had a few simple questions but non that weren't answered and helped. We went in January 2025 for my birthday and we had an amazing time. There's a main road to enter the site so it's ideal to drive but nothing exciting too close - we took a little drive out and went on a nice walk in the local area and ended up at a pub nearby. It appears there is more to explore around with some nice walks, but we were only there for 2 nights. Absolutely loved the lights surrounding the caravan, it was a beautiful aesthetic for the night and made it feel super cosy! There was a speaker and WIFI and the beds were super comfy too. Just a little small if you are tall, luckily I did not have that problem whereas my friend said she felt a little cramped but she was still able to sleep. There is a shop onsite next to where the main onsite facilities are and the pricing is pretty decent. I thought it would cost more, but the prices are fairly average. Would recommend doing the usual food shop before you go - but the shop is handy if in need!

Access to the main sites doesn't come with the booking, we were requested to purchase (after booking) if we wanted to go to the onsite facilities such as local bar/ where the water sport activities are held or any day/night specialties - We thought this may be useful to include in the price of the booking fee and have it come with the booking. If you don't want to purchase onsite ticket to the facilities - bring things you can do around your caravan or take offsite. More seating/ cleaner area on the water patio would've been great, and there was no light to see on an evening by the lake.

We was there for three nights from 14 to 17 March. we go there with friends and family for a birthday so we can relax make some barbecue and speak with friends go away from the busy city and relax. Unfortunately our vacation wasnt relaxing and calming because every couple of minutes was flying, landing and taking off airplanes. The whole caravan was shaking and the noise was so loud and bad we didnt even listened each other's. And thats why every day of our 4 days stay every couple of minutes. Nowhere in the advert in the property wasn't warned about this thing which is big problem. So we didnt take rest there we didn't slept good for 3 nights and thats our opinion about the property. Will be good if this information exists in the advert so people can know that this is not place for relaxing and spending quite and calm time.

Fantastic stay at lakeside retreat, host welcomed us with homemade shortbread and choccys and even had a Christmas 🎄 there for us which was lovely, we had everything we needed The location is beautiful right on the lake.
