Lovely location & the lodge has everything you could need. Excellent communication from the host

You can enjoy your stay without paying for the leisure passes. The host did explain this, but with having teenagers we did get them BUT you really do not have to

Disappointed

It was advertised as a double peg for fishing and there was tons of reeds in front of half of it so only one of us could fish at anyone one time was very disappointed it spoilt it for us

We didn’t use the park facilities but enjoyed walking around it, very clean , tidy and peaceful. Our lodge had stunning

The location was so beautiful and surrounding park clean and tidy

The outdoor furniture was tired looking and basic, not that comfortable. One of the garden chairs broke when being used by my elderly mother causing her shock and injury. After inspection of the other chairs one of those were frayed too. The handrail from the top decking to the lower one was unstable. The bathroom lock didn’t work. The shower head kept sliding down the pole fitting. The bed linen didn’t fit properly therefore making it uncomfortable.

Guests had clearly damaged items in the van prior to us arriving and not informed the owner which is disgusting! This is nothing against the owner as she didn’t know!

A couple faults, so already had abit of damage to the van, cooker shelves are broken and it’s very sketchy when trying to cook food. The place is covered in insects and toilet vent and kitchen vent

Would not stay here again due to the site not the lovely caravan we stayed in.

Caravan was lovely and clean and we had welcome gift of shortbread. Hot tub was great really warm and well maintained. Found double bed really uncomfortable, very soft mattress and I could feel the springs but I still slept. Deposit was returned promptly which was good. We had our own fishing peg but unfortunately my husband and son didn't catch a thing which was disappointing as that was the purpose of our visit. Was there any fish in the lake????

We arrived early expecting to be able to at least get a coffee or snack on site. Because we didn't buy passes which would have cost £95 we were denied access to any facilities, restaurants and coffee shop. We were told we could use fish & chips shop and onsite shop. So we took our custom to a lovely pub just around the corner and spent our money there. What ashame Tattershall Lake we could have spent our money on site which was alot more than £95. Your loss unfortunately.

Absolutely lovely place for family

Very clean, house gad everything we needed for a family. Lovely jacuzzi and outdoors. Felt very relaxed and refreshed. Absolutely recommend this place

Excellent location

Lovely clean caravan, excellent position, great communication with host, I'm not great with technology, but Rachel was very patient and help me with everything I struggled with.

We went so hubby and son could fish, and I could have peace to sew. Unfortunately because of the drop in temperature they kept disturbing me. Lol. And because of the drop in temperature they didn't catch anything. But that is something out of anyone's control. But is the only negative thing I think of. We have decided we just need to book again when it's warmer. So bonus for us.

Prices and stay

The spa and caravan were satisfactory

A smell of raw sewage from the sewage pipe. Noticed caravan next door. When spa man was present to empty next doors spa they left the sewage pipe open. All the jets were not working on the spa. Oven was not clean and smelt of grease. The passes were an extra cost of 90 pound and was not included in the price of 475 plus the additional 100 for damages. Making the stay 575 with no passes to facilities making it a very dear stay

Our opinion of our time

Tha caravan accommodation was lovely , clean, and tidy with everything you would need. The view was beautiful. The hot tub was great once we had the cleaning issues sorted, which was taken care of promptly once the owner was notified. Once the owner is told of any problems, it is dealt with promptly.

The beds were not very comfortable and not very big. We personally found the beds to be very soft with not much support, but this is down to personal preference if you like a soft or hard mattress. The outside private fishing peg was great but could have been cleaned down before we arrived. Although open to the birds around, a lot of old hardened bird excrement was left in that area, which we had to clean up.

We could not get served for breakfast as there were too many people waiting

Accommodation fantastic but we were very disappointed at not being able to use the park's facilities to their potential. Everything booked before we received our passes which is not the fault of our host. The park has got too big to accommodate their guests. And staff rude!

was a very tired looking caravan inside, sofa & cushions especially was very worn n tatty looking just couldn’t relax on it, looked broken aswell which you can see in the picture, just a lot of money for what it was

Very good

Great lodge with nice outside space and exceptionally clean as well. We stayed for a couple of days and even managed to catch a decent size carp. The welcome shortbread biscuits were a lovely touch. Self check in clearly communicated. We were a bit unlucky with the weather,but still enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The beds were not the best,the double might be bearable,but two singles for adults were horrible as the springs are breaking your back and they are not sturdy at all. Might be ok for kids. Probably one of the worst sleeps we have ever had. Could do with an upgrade.

The host was absolutely great from start to finish, she went out of her way to decorate the cabin for halloween for the kids. Great communication, clean and overall lovely stay.

The fishing lake was awful, full of weeds. As an angler I booked this place to be able to fish privately for the duration of the stay, I had 3 rods set out for 3 days and didn’t have 1 single bite, tried all sorts of different methods & baits.

Beautiful accommodation, had homemade shortbread waiting for us on arrival, was amazing and a very nice touch. Rachel was fab and answered all questions, hot tub was checked everyday which was very reassuring. Would definitely recommend and will be booking with Rachel again.
