Pleasant, great location. Site needs to mention 24 hr car park 50 yards away , as we had 2 cars and

3 bathrooms, great for 6 adults

Courtyard, could be much improved, it was very hot when we stared and we needed to keep the door open for some airflow it smelled overwhelmingly of dog urine. Needs hosing down and bleaching to get rid of this!

Whitby fabulous place great pubs with live music

The location and number of bedrooms.

Upper twin bed next to window bottom 3 lats, 1 missing 2 unsecured. Fell through when sat on. Constant beeping noise from alarm of some kind in the kitchen. Finally silenced itself Sunday Tv remote living room batteries dead. Took then from another remote

Lovely, home from home.

Close to town. Clean, comfortable. Car permit and parking nearby, welcome bag, with teabags, biscuits. All extras included in kitchen, kitchen paper, sponge, washing up liquid etc

We all had a good time, just some little niggles in the house.

Close to the amenities, comfy beds.

The outside area, needed a good clean , and you smell the drains. Upstairs double no blind or curtains. Japanese bath not suitable to get in and out.

Excellent location, but not the best value for money

Plenty of space for all seven of us, plus a little one. Clear instructions re parking and accessing the accommodation. Comfy beds with excellent pillows, and fluffy towels. The location couldn’t have been more convenient too.

There were a few aspects that were disappointing. Firstly, there was a significant amount of dog hair throughout the house, which got on all of our clothes and left the house with a dog smell. The two upstairs bedrooms had no curtains on the windows, so the four of us up there slept very poorly. Communication was lacking. I asked if there was any possibility of a slightly later check out as it was our little one’s nap time at 10am and I never even received a reply. Given the two nights cost us £650 I was expecting more.

Great location but house in need of a bit of TLC

Great location, plenty of space in the property, good bathrooms, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.

The beds were not comfortable and several of them were broken (single beds in first and second floor). Constant random beeping from an unidentified source. Kitchen tiny.

Great comfortable stay

Great location , comfortable and cosy. We were a group of 7 and it worked really well for us all to relax etc.

The front top bedroom doesn’t have a working blind. It is a small window but you do want to be able to stop daylight waking you up early in the mornings.

Lovely house plenty of room for our family.

3 floors, plenty of bathrooms, loved the en-suite on the 2nd floor, family bathroom and the bath shower on the top floor was a big hit with the children. Location was perfect, nice quiet street but 5 mins from everything.

Shouldn’t complain as we plan to use the house a second time. But loads of information from property, automated emails, no personnel contact. And my bed was a little hard.

Lovely house, well located

Rooms were all a great size and the beds were very comfy. Towels were nice and thick, location was fantastic and car park close by was very handy.

Kitchen could be better equipped (frying pan, oven tray). Bathrooms could all do with a spruce up, especially the sealant.

It was central, clean and homely. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. So much so that my friends are going to purchase the same pillows. It made our Whitby stay very enjoyable.

Everything you need for a great vacation

Brilliant location. Easy to find . Arrival easy too

Microwave needs to be a simpler type . Could not get it to operate on all the complicated settings. A small thing but everything else was spot on

The house was so big and beautiful. Perfect location, great value for money and enough toilets for everyone.

Whitby holiday

The house was very comfortable and very well appointed. There was 7 adults, a 3yr old and a dog. There was plenty of room for us all. The house is in an ideal location with parking only a 5 min walk away. We never had a problem finding a parking space and a parking permit and a disc was provided by the host. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops round the corner and the harbour is a few minutes walk from the house. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to come back next year.

The microwave is a bit complicated even with the instructions. It would be handy to have hooks behind the bathrooms/ on-suite doors to hang towels.
