Amazing place to stay. A place we'll happily return to.

The view was absolutely spectacular. The views from the two south facing bedrooms could not be understated. Plenty of board games to keep younger ones busy (didn't apply to us because the youngest of us was 28.) Well stocked on kitchenware. Air fryer came in handy and having a shower room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs made it easy for us if any of us had differing washing choices. Nightlights were handy for moving around at night as the halls were fairly dark at night. Wi-fi was provided and allowed us to watch Netflix when we were in the house. The gardens were lovely and the driveway could have fit two cars, but the rear would have been a squeeze to get into.

Due to my weight, the bed did creak a little when two of us were on the far end rooms bed, though this could just as easily have been the flooring. We grew accustomed to it after a few days. The bin day is on a Thursday, so unfortunately there is a likelihood that you will be unable to bin or recycle easily whilst here. There seems to be an ongoing issue with the bins being collected on the day prior to people's final day and all recycling and refuse to be left in the kitchen until the bins are emptied. This is unfortunate, but is not the fault of those running The Perks.

great location and huge property for 6 adults and 2 kids, needs updating and deep cleaned

the keys were easy to collect after receiving an email with the key code. the property was within walking distance to the beach and in general a very good location for travelling to scarborough city centre and whitby

the property s is desperate need of upgrade and a deep clean. On arrival, the property was full of cobwebs in the front porch, the garden needed cut and the bushes needed cut right back as we could only get 2 sides of the whirly gig. The pictures on the website are a bit deceiving. The property was huge inside which was great but needed updating and a deep clean needed as there was dust and cobwebs around. The carpets were dirty. As the property was for 8 people, they had a silly little bin in the kitchen so could do to have a decent size bin as was emptying all the time. The property was obviously an old persons house which hadnt been updated before leasing out which is a shame as theres so much potential but i understand that its busy all year round but things could be put inbetween the leaving time of 9am and arrival time of 5pm.

Superb

House well equipped and roomy with plenty of outside seating and lovely garden which was ideal for dog and grandchildren. Lovely view of sea and castle especially from bedroom windows. Quick walk to Sea Life, North Beach and Apamare Water Park. 10 minute walk to Tesco. Locals very friendly, had lots of chats with people when walking dog. A great holiday

Front room a little dated, but not a complaint given the money we paid - very good value for money.
