Good location in Scarborough North bay, 10 mins walk from the Open Air Theatre and a couple of minutes from a sea view. Lovely well fitted out and decorated apartment. Good kitchen and everything you need. Very nice facilities. Tea and coffee and milk sachets provided for arrival. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good TVs. Lovely view of the cricket pitch from the bedroom.

The smell from the shower drain was foul at times and the window was painted up in the shower room so unable to open. The only lights in the bedroom were two lovely hanging lights by the beds but these are very bright and cannot be individually turned off. You had to get out of the bed to turn them off. Really need a couple of small lights. I did contact the property about this but the reply was simply that there are no bedside lights on the inventory so clearly they weren’t going to help. I went and bought a bedside light for the duration of my stay. Otherwise very good.

Location was good main stay was for outdoor theater , layout of rooms was OK,large modern TV, large walk in shower, bathroom clean, modern looks, fair price

On arrival for our three night stay found Very Poor internet signel, obvious signs of wear and tear to sofa buttons missing , and cleanliness was questionable as cobwebs on walls in some areas, dirty windows, dusty blinds, lounge rug had visable white dog hairs and generally looked dirty. crack on one front window should have been repaired, found dirty cup in cupboard, only two forks for cuttelery?, no splash back near cooking area (hob) which we didn't use, but old fat stains on paintwork visable should have been tiled ? so looked dirty, previous poor repairs to worktop and other items. Bedroom mattress extremely soft, so for us uncomfortable. Bathroom was OK,, sink being close to the door and not tiled fully around? , so again staining on paintwork just doesn't look good, towel hook hanging off poorly repaired. Should have a parking permit to go with the apartment would be a good idea.. Though we were disappointed it sounds worse than it was, but some small improvements could have made such a difference.
