Moorland Retreat - Ideal for Open Air Theatre

The property was spacious . Unfortunately we had been given the wrong access code .The key cupboard was difficult to find . When we finally got into the house it hadn’t been cleaned . The beds were stripped and dirty bedding left on the utility room floor but no beds made , bins left full , dirty dishes in the dishwasher , no hair dryers , a handle came off a door . On the whole dusty and in need of a clean. The original cleaner had let the owner down due to her child having an accident and unfortunately the owner was away in London . The owner then sent another cleaner who made up the beds but no hoovering nor emptying of bins etc was done also she had to leave early to go to another job . The WiFi information was incorrect . When we did finally meet the owner she was very apologetic and brought some wine and chocolates which was kind . We did think we should have been compensated and the owner did say she would offer us a reduced price if we wanted to return at any time . We all thought the house itself was lovely and well furnished.

Great big place suitable for several people. Near town centre.

Couldn’t find the outdoor bins.

Lovely big property, very clean & comfortable stay for our party of 9 - would love to return 10 min walk into Scarborough

Lovely big property seemed we'll equipped but we didn't stay in very long using as a base when a group of ex Scarborough uni students had meet up in town.

Was a little bit of a walk into town, but we knew that when booking.
