Lovely

Janice the host went above and beyond to help us with our stay. She let us check in 1 hour before our planned check in, and more if we had arrived earlier. And messaged us to let us check out an hour later than scheduled due to the cleaners arriving later than planned, which helped us out to allow us more time for breakfast etc, free of charge. Which we appreciated a great deal.

There wasn't anything about the place we didn't like.

Amazing place and host won't stay anywhere else when visiting Scarborough.

There was nothing not to love, Janice was amazing throughout the process and really looked after us with such a personal touch, I have never experienced this through any booking platform which made our experience exceed all expectations. The location couldn't have been better and ticked all the boxes for the entire family. We enjoyed every second from the moment we arrived to the minute we left and will definitely be visiting again and staying here every time we visit Scarborough.

Nice accommodation but over priced.

Central location, nice view. Clean. Good communication.

I felt it was over priced. I chose it as one of the more expensive properties on booking.com as a treat, so I was expecting it to have all the bells and whistles. The accommodation is fine but it is not luxury- there was no bathroom products, no welcome food items, some of the decor was tired eg the living room floor, grout around the bottom of the shower, damp on the walls. At a lower cost I’d have been happy, but overall was disappointed.

Perfect accommodation for a family of 4 or five!

The apartment is nice and clean with a homely vibe to it. The lady who owns it was very accommodating and attentive. Will definitely book again next time ♥️

Amazing stay super attentive host

The property is clean, beautifully decorated and super comfy. Janice is a brilliant host, couldn’t do more for us and maybe us to welcome. Best location with everything on the doorstep and the view is beautiful. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful place. We will certainly be back!

Lovely apartment

Janice our landlady went above and beyond to help us. We booked the apartment as we were going to a concert at the open air arena. Janice sent us so much information about how to get there and how to find the apartment she was brilliant! She even let us have a later check out time which was really helpful. One of my friends left a make up palette and Janice even offered to post it back to us. She really couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was beautiful and so handy for Scarborough town centre. Parking just across the road too for a very reasonable price. We will defiantly stay here again.

There was a pull out bed that want great but good for an extra bed and we was on the top floor so the stairs lol many many stairs good job there's a seat half way 😂

Janice the host was fantastic from start to finish and made checking in and out very easy and smooth. The apartment was in the best location for exploring Scarborough and we as a family fully enjoyed our stay here at Harcourt place.

For myself and the the 5 teens I had with me it was perfect.

The flat was roomy, with comfy beds and well fitted out kitchen. Well presented rooms and comfy large sofa/bed. Excellent position for Scarborough with lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants around. Although there was lots of amenities around it was not noisy. A view of the sea and near the beach with the castle not far to walk to. The owner of the flat was very accommodating and helpful, easy to reach.

If I were to make any suggestions on improvement, although the beds were comfy the bunk beds squeaked, so as I am a light sleeper I woke up a lot with the person above moving. The person in the lounge was woken up early as the curtains were not blackout so the light came in early.

Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Families!

We stayed at Harcourt Place in Scarborough from the 5th to the 6th of April as a family of five (two adults and three children), and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked, communication from Janice , the owner, was outstanding. We received a warm confirmation followed by several helpful emails with recommendations on places to eat, things to see, and activities to do in the area. It really built the excitement for our trip and made us feel looked after before we even arrived. The property itself was absolutely immaculate – beautifully clean, stylish, and incredibly family-friendly. It’s perfectly located right on the seafront with stunning sea views, and we felt very welcome from the moment we walked in. Everything we needed was provided, including fresh linens and towels, and there were no hidden fees whatsoever. It was clear a lot of care and attention has gone into making guests feel at home here, and we were so impressed with how accommodating and thoughtful everything was. We had a wonderful time and will 100% be looking to stay again. Highly recommend this gem of a property!

Fantastic, close to shops and restaurants, 5 min walk to beach, would stay again

I loved the sea view and the space for everyone to just hang out after a long walk around Scarborough, facilities to be able to wash clothes and wash pots with ease also the pictures don’t do it justice!

Wasn’t pleased with the bathroom door lock being stuck and unable to be locked and the pillows could have been softer but that’s it
