Poor WiFi reception but that's not too crucial and anyway can't be helped!

Good location lovely walks into Whitby. Property is a good size and well maintained & thoughtful host. Very clean & nice outside garden. Kitchen is lovely social
Parking advertises and explain in hand book in the kitchen but awkwardly it’s outside someone’s house & isn’t parking for pear tree house. Top bed room stair case is dangerously low. House is very warm with Aga & winter duvets in June

Very minor - although we WERE asked to bring own bin bags etc., we didn't bring cleaning sprays and would've appreciated some for surface cleaning.
Poor WiFi reception but that's not too crucial and anyway can't be helped!
One thing needed is bannister/rail on stairs; we're a bit older and they are q steep!

Great location in a quiet village, superb Butchers shop opposite. Various footpaths for a simple walk into Whitby, also very nice local pub.
The front door is a little difficult to shut, apart from that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Welcoming beautifully furnished. Quirky.

The kitchen area was fab and the bedrooms were really comfortable. we also loved the outside space.
The parking was a bit limited for a property of this size but we managed to park some of our cars on the street in the village. I also found the recycling difficult as the bins were not labelled. A separate box for glass would have been better.

The house is comfortable, well equipped, clean, and very well done up. It's got very comfortable beds, lots of space, and the lounge is very cosy.
The only issue is the parking. It can be a little complicated. But it certainly wouldn't put me off going again!

Spacious house. Loved the walk into Whitby which took about 35 minutes. Beds were really comfy. Shower is powerful, bath slightly chipped in couple of places but very clean and tidy all round. Kitchen area beautiful to cook and catch up. Loved loved loved our weekend there. Would and have recommended already
Nothing not to like!

Exceptionally well equipped, like a home not a holiday cottage, warm & cosy, lovely kitchen/dining area and love the boot/ utility room. Owners provided more than expected which was very welcome ( washing up liquid/dishcloths/ tea & cake )
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. The older members of the party would have felt safer on the stairs with a banister.
We didn’t realise the parking space was a few minutes walk away but was fine.

The cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The welcome pack was wonderful, especially the wine. Thank you! The Aga did take some mastering but we soon got the hang of it. Pear Tree Cottage is in a fab location and is ideal for families and parties of all ages. I would definitely recommend.
The cottage is located on the main road through the village and the parking is further away in an allocated spot or on the road. Unloading the car was a bit hairy on the main road but once we were in we were fine.

The whole place is lovely very well equipped and comfortable
The parking wasn't great but the space allocated was fine. I have a brand new car which I keep covered. But it wouldn't stop meet booking again.

Very comfortable beds, lovely furnishings, all basic necessities provided, including milk, tea bags and even a bottle of wine and a cake! (Thank you, much appreciated!)
Nothing. Except not long enough!
