Jordan Canal Studio

Location location location, it was right on the canal’s, 3 min walk to Anne Frank’s house and 15 min to the town centre.

Marcel was an amazing host and really appreciated his flexibility and kindness. The studio is the perfect alternative to a hotel - huge room, lovely sitting area, place to make tea/coffee/snack, super comfortable bed and everything needed for a perfect stay. I loved the location too. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The location is perfect, also there is lots of space and in hot days it was always pleasantly cool! Mattress is very soft, would be also perfect if one has to work and very nice decoration.

If I could award 11 stars (or even 12) I would do so. This is my second time staying at Jordan Canal Studio and I'm convinced that it is the single best vacation rental for couples or solo travelers in all of Amsterdam. You're right on the Prinsengracht in one of the best neighborhoods while remaining relatively quiet. How is this possible? Because of your host, Marcel. The apartment is quite spacious for the city and has everything that you need. A small kitchenette, wonderful bathroom and shower and a very good sized room with a large window that opens directly to the Prinsengracht sidewalk. You can leave the dark shade down for total seclusion or have the windows open and have the blinds down halfway and people can't see in. If the window is totally open, and you're having lunch inside, people will peer in and consistently say "oh! a little house!" while walking past. NGL I think people are a little jealous. And why wouldn't they be? You can walk all around Amsterdam, and when you're tired it's a super quick walk home to recover or have a beer or a nap. I liked to put a chair right outside the window and play some music (reasonably). In this neighborhood everyone just passes by and you can see canalboats and a beautiful group of houses. The studio is extremely well located and is easy to keep clean. Friendly neighbors, too! Yes, the apartment isn't cheap, but if you can splurge a bit, I guarantee that the extra money will be totally worth it. Big thanks to Marcel. You are the best host! Until next time.
