Great walkable location to downtown Amsterdam, Anne Frank, Royal Palace, New Church, Dam Square. Small rooms, quiet and clean.

This hotel was FANTASTIC! Great location, friendly staff and a really nice room. We will definitely stay here again. And the history of the hotel is amazing.

Great location, but everything else is a disaster
"The location is fantastic and close to everything – that's the only positive thing.
As for the negatives, they are many:
· Soundproofing is terrible. We could hear footsteps from the floor above as if they were right over our heads, and street noise kept us awake all night.
· The rooms are extremely small, not even spacious enough to open two suitcases comfortably.
· The AC is very weak. The cooling barely works, even in moderate temperatures, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable all night long.
· The worst part is the bed scam. I booked a king/double bed, but was shocked to find two separate single beds pushed together and covered with one single sheet! The gap in the middle is incredibly uncomfortable and makes proper sleep impossible. This detail must be clearly disclosed before booking, not hidden.
Verdict: Only recommend this place if you care about location and don't plan to sleep at all. I will not be coming back."
