Great location. Walking distance to everywhere if doing 2 days in Amsterdam. Close enough to the train station to walk with suitcases. Comfortable rooms except "see below". Beds were good. AC worked great. Clean. Best part is the host!! Honestly you could not find a better host. Good value compared to other places.
For us, not an issue as my party of 4 are all current or former athletes BUT if you are elderly or obese, DO NOT STAY here, the steps into the unit are crazy steep typical of Amsterdam older buildings!! We had no problem without suitcases but honestly a little bit of an effort with suitcases especially our one checked bag. Next there are 2 rooms. We stayed 2 in each of course. The back room is larger especially the bathroom but no windows to the outside so dark. The front room has windows with light but is smaller. Bathroom was really small... like 1/2 the size of a normal sink!
