Tourist Inn One Amsterdam

The location is very accessible and right in the city center. If you’re staying with kids, be aware that there are some things in the surrounding area that may not be suitable for children to see. The staff informed us about this upon arrival, which we appreciated.

One thing we noticed was a distinct smell in the main hotel building where the reception is located. It was hard to identify exactly what it was, but it wasn’t particularly pleasant. However, the inn where we stayed was clean. Although we had a shared bathroom, it seemed that we were mostly the only ones using it. On our last day, we noticed some bed bugs. Fortunately, none of us got any bites, and we slept well throughout our stay.

The front desk staff were fantastic and everyone was friendly. Proximity to the train station was very good. Good access to restaurants and they serve a good buffet breakfast for a decent price.

For the money, rooms were small and spartan. It's in a red light district and that wasn't clear until I got there, though it did not feel unsafe even as a solo female traveller.

Perfect location. Walking distance from the train station, it’s located in the very center of everything. Calm and beautiful neighborhood near the canals and important spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable.

They have shared toilets and showers, they were clean anyways.
