Lovely, traditional B & B

Cosy, warm and clean. Excellent hospitality tray and lovely cooked breakfast. Friendly hostess.

The facilities excellent with tea and coffee and biscuits, the accommodation clean and tidy, great value for money. The breakfast was loverly, its not often I will eat a full English on both days of my stays when working away, but this was an exception. A great short stay, I will return on my next visit.

Glenys was so welcoming, the perfect host. I would recommend anybody to stay here and enjoy.

The breakfast was really good and just what I needed also the parking was first class with enough room for all the residents.

Well absolutely nothing as I stop in a lot of accommodation and this was up there with the best.

Handy location, peaceful quiet ensuite room at the back away from the road. Excellent breakfast and tea making facilities in room. Significantly better value than chain hotels and with added bonus of great breakfast.

A little grubby in places but acceptable. The small shower in ensuite was a bit of a squeeze but good incentive to lose weight! Seemed like central heating wasn’t working on second night as a little cold compared to first night which was hot.

Great traditional guest house with shared bathroom. Two pubs nearby serving food. Clean, comfy rooms and slept very well.

Welcoming and kind hostess. Great value for money. Gluten-free catered for very well with cakes in the room, 4 choices of cereals, bread and a full cooked breakfast. Delicious fresh berries for breakfast too. Great location and within walking distance of a few pubs offering some gluten-free fare. The Wickets Inn had gluten-free fish and chips.

I didn't have an ensuite room but was aware of that when booking and bathroom was just opposite. Room quite small but fine for one night.

We had a room at the top of the house and it was very warm up there and difficult to sleep. The whole house had a slightly tired feel about it, but everything was clean and worked fine.

For those that value a traditional B&B experience, Bartley House provides it - welcoming, friendly host, excellent breakfast, and great value. And for those that haven't experienced a good B&B, give it a try (it beats a Tr*v*l L*dg*!).

Room cannot be described as a De Luxe double with shower. Raised with owner and advised that bed was 2 singles pushed together - effectively creating a large bed in a smallish room. Little room to turn around in shower.

Friendly and very accomodating host, very comfortable bed, breakfast was exceptional!

The host was flexible and very accomodating with my changing arrival time due to traffic issues. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything needed including delicious biscuits with tea and coffee and the window overlooked a very well-kept garden. The breakfast choice, included in the accomodation price, of cereal and fresh fruit plus a generous freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. The location was a convenient 10 minute drive to Telford International Centre. There is a petrol station and convenience store 2 minutes walk away. There is a lovely large park to walk in 3 minutes walk away.

Great location, comfy bed, great facilities. Had a solid nights sleep and a nice cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly host and value for money.

As with previous reviews the highlight was the splendid breakfast dished up. However in addition, from the location it is easy to walk into the historic town centre and there is a local park for a stroll to stretch the legs.
