Property was lovely, comfortable beds
Unfortunately I didn’t sleep most of the night due to very loud, rude men in the room next to me until 3.30am. Laughing and banging doors, other men coming down corridor knocking on their door. No respect or consideration for other people. My two daughters and husband were on another floor and I was on my own on ground floor. I tried to knock on wall to try and make them quiet, but 5 mins later they walked passed and thumped on my door making me feel quite scared. Apart from that it was lovely and staff were very nice.

The older man at the reception was lovely
Shower didn’t work had to move rooms, the champagne/wine that it says comes with the room doesn’t, wifi doesn’t work neither does data as it’s in the middle of nowhere, people getting kicked out at 2am waking everyone else up, quite dirty. Younger people at reception were quite blunt and rude didn’t seem to know what they’re doing

Location
The hotel was not what was described, bed was broken , no food facilities, hotel was used as a brothel and I had to shout at the prostitute to be quiet then she left at 5am, people were noisy all night in corridors, bathroom was freezing and we had to put shoes on to walk on cold tiled floor , rooms were not as described and below standard , do not stay here !!

The outside beautiful area but it needs a good tidy up outside our room a old chair thrown by lake being left all outside needs a good cut back and tidy up
The room was cold even with radiator on not warm enough needs hoovering under bed pillows rubbish yellow inside the pillowcase all needs re painting outside balcony needs a clean window frames shame they have the basics but needs some love to bring up to a 4 star no food bar empty no atmosphere it could be fantastic with the right management there a gold mine but sadly its just a shell.ive owned a hotel myself I see it the lady there was friendly but in a place like that you need people with drive and experience...

The hotel is set in a lovely, quiet location. Good sized room with everything you needed for an overnight stay. We were originally next door to a group of noisy youths but asked for a room swap as we didn’t want to ruin their New Years Eve by complaining so asked to be moved instead. The hotel were very accommodating & gave us a lovely room with a four poster bed.
No food available onsite(we knew this before we stayed but not before we booked) & as it was miles from anywhere this meant planning how & where we were going to eat before arriving. Has recently been taken over so room for improvement still.

The furniture and decor in the room was more dated than a Jim Davidson joke. The remote for the TV didn't work (a one for all remote) despite me following the instructions fastidiously. (I am an IT manager) there was no USB power points. One spare plug socket was found so I had to decide between devices, which was more useful. The kettle (that still had the last residents water in it) worked brilliantly (if you unplugged the TV because of unavailability sockets. There was no glass in the bathroom for water.
The shower was amazingly hot (50°)and relaxing. (If you fancied making a cup of tea). (Trigger warning) Once adjusted to human shower temperature, the water dribbled out like watching a 90yr old stroke victim sipping orange juice.
I voted for the bath, which was great once I had rinsed the previous residents hair away.
The walls are so thin I very nearly decided to speak to the copulating couple next door through the wall to ask if they fancied a post relations cup of shower tea!! And to top it off, housekeeping walked into my room and woke me up at 8am saying they thought I'd already checked out!
Desperately funny and disappointing in equal measure.

Rooms cleaned daily and bins emptied, get better WiFi so loved ones can call phones signal was constantly lost at this hotel be careful, hotel should serve food for the guests and make sure your guests have coffee and tea for the room

A cold room and some painting wouldn't hurt, but it would be nice to say in advance that there is no breakfast on Sunday morning but they will ask for money for it.

Location is fantastic for The Wrekin . YES this hotel is past it’s hey day but still has so much potential but that depends on demand I suppose . They have the facilities but just not the clientele right now to warrant a chef etc … The staff were so helpful and friendly . The night porter was particularly friendly and helpful . Altered my booking arrangement without any fuss at all . This would’ve definitely resulted in additional charges at other hotels .
I would stay here gain .
Unfortunately I THINK this hotel is used by the local council to temporary house unfortunates.
They are constantly in and out of each others rooms , knocking on doors all hours of the day which becomes really annoying . Maybe these could be given their own wing away from normal guests who come for a bit of peace and quiet .

Arrived after a day of travelling, my partner and I were shattered, when we got to the room, the room was not clean. The bed had visibly been used, the bin was full, the towels had been used!
Then following an episode of illness on my part, we were a little late checking out. We were then charged £20 for a late checkout even after complaining about the state of the room!
I would NEVER recommend this hotel! The receptionist “Sang” was rude and inconsiderate! Called my partner and myself liars!
Buckatree-NEVER AGAIN!!!

The bed was clean.
The building is crying out for someTLC. The stairs carpet looks like it hasn't seen a hoover in months. There remained two half used shampoo bottles on the bath begging the question whether the bath had been cleaned. There was no heating in the room when we arrived, when questioned we were informed that the occupancy rating didn't qualify for the heating to be put on. We were provided with an electric heater which worked adequately but we should have been informed upon arrival.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Easy to find and great if you’re working in Telford or enjoy walking the local area.
Unfortunately no food option at the moment, but this was clearly stated before booking so not expected. Lift was out of order and it’s a bit of a maze to find your room.

The staff were extremely helpful.

The location was very scenic.
They didn’t provide breakfast.
For this trip, it didn’t suit us to be so far from town and public transport.

Parking the car and the location
No food at all. Lift still not working. Bins of rubbish from rooms left in corridors. Television did not work in my first room. USB charging plugs did not work. Complained until they gave me another room, otherwise I was ready to walk out. Second Room TV worked in this one but USB plugs still inoperative. Huge crack in wash basin and enamel in bath waring off, wall light bulb not working in one of the lights. In the bar: asked for dark rum and coke, only spiced rum. Then I asked for malt whiskey, did not have any. Then asked for straight whiskey and ginger ale, no ginger ale, only had lemonade. Had to settle with gin and tonic. Room was not cleaned or bed made, nothing had been done. Their excuse, did I ask to have it done?

Had to change rooms. Everyone there was complaining about no heating. First had a room with not hot water to have a bath. But was able to change. But the whole hotel was cold. I don't understand why they even a people to book there when the facilities weren't open or the heating wasn't working.
