It suited me location but if I was looking for somewhere for a weekend away I would look elsewhere .

Good location , easy access for parking . Friendly staff

The decor in the rooms was awful Looked like a nunnery Dark heavy wood and old fashioned furniture and blinds . Room was far too hot to sleep and no way to adjust the temperature . I was charged full price for a cup of coffee and 2 slices of toast for breakfast which should be included when being charged over £100 a night . Hallway and corridors stank of stale cigarette smoke and there was dirty hand prints all over the door plates . Wouldn’t stay there again .

Staff were brilliant from checkin to checkout. Even managed to get us a table in a very busy restaurant. The in-house band were great so there was no need to leave the hotel on the Saturday.

Location gave us easy access to city centre on Sunday.

Lovely hotel but very noisy

Location was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The noise. There was music in the bar below which was fine and can't be helped but when the bar closed, the noise of chairs being dragged across a stone/hard floor while staff cleaned up went on til 2am. Then the noise started again at 7am so we didn't get much sleep.

Great location and staff but the room let our stay down

Location is excellent only a short taxi into town. We had a great lunch in the bar and the staff were very friendly.

The room we stayed in was very basic and with the decor feeling very dated. The pillows were flat, broken and lumpy, so I had to ask for extras. The mattress protector had come away on one side, which exposed a large stain that wasn’t very pleasant to see. There was also no way to control the temperature in the room, and it ended up feeling uncomfortably warm for most of our stay. .

The bar and staff were excellent, as was the food. They had a solo singer on the evening I stayed and he was very good.

The room was a little dark and perhaps in my opinion a little dated in comparison to the opulent refit of the bar/restaurant . I also struggle with the fact there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but the helpful night porter made me a cup of tea before I checked out

Very lovely hotel, fantastic if you're looking for a good party, just not a place for an early night

We loved the young lady who checked us in; she was super helpful and so friendly. The room was a great size and the shower was fantastic! The hotel was also very easy to navigate. Also loved the small touches included in the room, such as the complementary water and crisps.

We do understand it is a very lively hotel, but my colleague/friend was in Belfast for the specific reason of doing a course for her job, she barely got any sleep as there was very little soundproofing from the very loud music that went on past 1:30am, and once the music finished she was also kept awake due to a lot of talking and noise out in the hallway. I understand there isn't a massive pile that can be done about this, but I did feel it needed to be brought up regardless as the staff member who we spoke to when checking out seemed very unbothered by our issue and didn't even pretend to be sorry for all the noise.

Breakfast was excellent. The bar was a lively and entertaining space. The staff were friendly and efficient, very welcoming.

The room was too hot at night and the road noise was noticeable with the window open. Whilst a tray of tea was provided on request, we would now rather have tea facilities in our room.

Great hotel, well done everyone. Lovely clean room, really nice to have some snacks in room! Food in restaurant was outstanding, steak frites... Wow. Also it's a really nice part of Belfast, near the castle, pleasant streets to walk around, plenty of shops within 15 or 20 minutes stroll.

Bathroom fan was a bit noisy in the middle of the night, not much you can do about that.

Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location for the city centre (well connected via public transport) and for the ferry port. The room was spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was very good.

The room was extremely hot and there was no A/C. The open window did little to cool the room down. There is no kettle/tea/coffee provided in the room. Complimentary tea and coffee can be ordered through reception, but as I checked out at 5AM there was only a night porter and no means of getting a cup of coffee before hitting the road.

Overpriced in my opinion. Room was ok, could do with upgrading. The noise from the music and the beer garden was awful, we couldn’t sleep. Booking.com listed it as close to Ormeau Park for out gig. We were £20 each way in a taxi so not close by at all.

Great location, fab staff, convenient (and free) parking!

We've stayed at the Lansdown before. Love the on site parking - for free! The location - nice and central and in easy reach of central Belfast by car, taxi or public transport. Staff are always super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are of a good size and I especially love the fact that they have USB sockets (lots of them) as well as plug sockets. Beds are comfy. Breakfast wasn't included in the booking, but available on the day - it's good value and from an a la carte menu meaning that if you're a toast and coffee person you don't feel ripped off by having to pay (a usually expensive) fixed price on breakfast.

My father felt the noise from the main road was a bit distracting trying to get off to sleep - I didn't really feel that way. The bathroom doors swing closed after opening - I found this a bit annoying - and noisy, each time, but not so that it detracted from a positive experience.

Very nice hotel. We could not fault our stay. Room was clean and bathroom modern. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was really good & cocktails were fantastic!

Very pleasant, comfortable and perfect for my work trip.

Staff were very helpful. I was late arriving but they went out of their way to assist me to get food even on a very busy evening. Reception staff and bar/restaurant managers were very professional, friendly and helpful. The snacks and water in the room was a real treat and very welcomed.

My room was on road side of the hotel so it was a little loud with traffic but that's not surprising and wouldn't put me off staying again.
