The room was immaculate and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. Check in is through the main entrance but the room had its own door to come and go as you please.
Anna was a lovely host and cooked a great breakfast. She's also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and bus services, local and those for Oxford and on to London, and loves a good chat. The view of the back garden from the dining room is so tranquil I'd sit there for the whole day if I didn't have other stuff to do.
Although My stay was short but if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely check if there's a room available.
It's slightly out of the way depending if you need to go to the town centre or high street to catch certain buses but not too bad. Floor space is limited as well as in the ensuite bathroom. Showers are the single-dial type and took a short time to warm up but will shortly get hot.
