I would reccomend this to anyone looking to go to this area!

The property was beautiful and there was clearly a lot of attention to detail. I loved it! The staff was very attentive and accommodated. We felt very well celebrated and taken care of!

It would have been nice to be able to let ourselves in and out of the property but I felt great that it was secure. Providing a good menu could also improve the dining experience.

A beautiful haven to relax

Very comfortable, authentic and tasteful place to find some peace and quiet. Kind and attentive reception, very good Mexican breakfast. The highlight for us were the colourful garden and the heated pool. Very close to the centre yet quiet - beautiful view!

This a hidden jewel in Tepotzlan! I’ve been to other places here but the attention to details and client is fabulous! Its close enough to downtown and restaurants but no need to eat outside as the food is fabulous. All of this is due to the hands on of the business by the owner Marcela who runs a tight ship and is herself a remarkable lady.

Another Amazing Stay at Casa del Angel!

This is my second time staying here, and this time I brought my mother with me. She LOVED her stay. The house is beautifully decorate, the pool is heated, everything was immaculate, the breakfast filling and delicious, and the service very warm and friendly. Plus - free parking! Beautiful views, gorgeous garden, and screens on the windows. Highly recommended.

There is really not much I can say that is not to like! Sometimes, the dogs from neighboring houses would bark in the middle of the night. I would just shut my windows and that took care of that issue. But that's only because my room was closest to the street also. I wear earplugs normally, so it doesn't phase me.

Paradise in Tepoztlan.

The hotel is IMMACULATE. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept in pristine condition, the pool is heated, and it is such a nice, relaxing environment. We were able to extend out checkout to 3pm by paying a fixed rate of 200 pesos per hour (after the 12pm checkout time). This was great for us as we could hang out by the pool on our last day! I'll definitely return with my mother and stepfather in a couple months.

Our only minor hiccup was when we had purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony of the room. There was a 300 peso charge to open the bottle and provide glassware for the wine. That was more than what we paid for the bottle!

Great boutique family-run hotel.

The proprietor greeted us and was around to make sure our stay was being pleasant. Breakfast was very well served. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The proprietor is in charge of processing credit card payments and she may not always be around. We had to wait for about 30 mins to do the check-out.

Gorgeous boutique hotel with amazing staff, sensational food and beautiful rooms

What a gorgeous setting! I loved the wooden decor and all the attention to detail with artworks, flowers and home furnishings which really gave it a personal, homely yet upmarket feel. The breakfast was spectacular! Everything including the scones and jam were homemade and presented beautifully. Senora Marcela was so sweet and attentive to all our needs. You felt immediately at home and pampered. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back to this quaint little town and the beautiful Casa del Angel:)

It was a little difficult to know where the entrance was when we first arrived. Perhaps a prior notice as what to expect and how to ring the gate bell (once discovered). When the hotel is busy (only on our afternoon) it can take a little while to get your order at the restaurant but it's so pretty with wonderful views you could easily take a book to read or postcards to write while you wait.

Unforgettable

AMAZING place ! The view on the mountains is unforgettable, swimming in from of it is magic ! The whole house and the rooms are beautiful and furnished with great taste. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The staff is incredible, extremely nice and helpful. They can arrange for you massages and yoga class in the garden. A wonderful place !

Todo me gustó de forma integral. La casa simplemente te cautiva durante la estancia y sinceramente las fotos no le hacen justicia. Todo está impecable, se cuida hasta el más mínimo detalle tanto en interiores como en el jardín, la alberca siempre limpia y climatizada. Casa del Ángel se encuentra ubicada en una bonita zona, tranquila y silenciosa, donde genuinamente puedes relajarte y disfrutar solo o en compañía. Aunado a ello, tanto el dueño como el personal son muy amables y serviciales. Una joya en Tepoztlán.

La casa es preciosa, si bien no es como tal un hotel, eso hace que la experiencia sea mejor. Hay mucha privacidad, poca gente y el trato del personal es excepcional. Los desayunos son muy bastos y deliciosos, la alberca a temperatura perfecta y los servicios de masajes 10/10.
