Impeccable oasis outside of Telpoztlan fray

A tranquil oasis outside of the Tepoztlan fray! Great pool, good size, heated, clean, well-maintained and chlorine free. Beautiful,Impeccably maintained grounds. Staff is very professional, kind and conscientious. Good breakfast included. Perfect place for workshops, retreats or weddings.

Some sound transference depending upon behavior of other guests and neighbors at next door property. Alrhough it was first presented as 10 minute walk to town that is not really the case. More llike 20 minutes up a sometimes steep cobblestone incline. But in the end it was good to be a bit out of town.

Pool area was beautiful. room was kind of sparsely decorated but bed was one of the best we had in 10 days. Breakfast was made to order and good.

I think we were the only people there and the hospitality factor was just odd - there was one young man who didn’t really speak English who just handed us a single key when we got there, it just felt strange.

Beautiful temazcal experience but be prepared to pay the equivalent of $100 USD for this

Exceptional service. Staff always ready to assist in any way. Manners impeccable.

One day I asked 3 questions about the temazcal: Was the temazcal functional? Was the source of heat electric or other? Could we use the temazcal at 8pm that night? The answers were yes, gas, and yes. We had a wonderful experience. Problem was we had no idea we would be charged the equivalent of $100 USD (2,100 pesos +/-). At 8pm we were surprised to be met by a lovely young lady who chanted and helped us have a special experience. Two staff assisted with the "event" during the hour and with drinks of tea thereafter. It was indeed a great experience. Only suggestion is: if hotel is going to provide an event or service, please inform guests in advance of details such as chanting lady, tea, etc, and charge of xyz pesos. [When I "reserved" the temazcal I had expected that staff world simply turn on and turn off the heat, give us instruction, and permit us a 30 minute experience alone. I would not have been surprised by a small charge when checking out.]

Beautiful view. Small and well kept. Really good breakfast, which was included (not like other places that have “breakfast” and it’s only juice). Very accommodating. Even the dog was excellent!

Beautiful little hotel with a very relaxed vibe. Clean comfortable rooms, a nice view of Tepozteco from the pool area and simple but very nice food. The staff are super friendly and (unlike a lot of hotels in Tepoztlan), it's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, so once you've arrived you don't need a car to get around. We'll be back.

Everything: the location, the gorgeous garden, the spacious rooms, the breakfast, the food of the restaurant, and above all: the people who work there, so friendly. We can highly recommend this place: 10/10

Really nice property with beautiful gardens and a great pool. It's only a short yet pleasant 12min walk from/to the centre. The breakfast was very good too (homemade traditional Mexican food). However, what we liked the most was the attention by the staff, they were very friendly, helpful and available at all times. I'd definitely come back again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff if super nice and friendly. The free breakfast exceeded my expectations. Matias the dog is super lovable and friendly with the guests. Definitely, would go back!

Great Experience

Honestly David and the property manager made us feel special, they where very attentive and caring. As an LGBTQ couple it made us feel safe. David was very cordial and gave us some great tips for what to do in town. The view was amazing!! and it was quiet at night time compared to previous posadas I have stayed before. The property is located not far from downtown and the pyramid but it is a walk that tool us about 15-20 minutes, so be aware. Overall great experience, will definitely be back soon.

The walk to town was somewhat long, but doable. The rooms are close to each other so you do hear things at times but is not too terrible.

Paradise is a place on earth (in Tepoztlán).

Casa Luna Ambar is a small paradise! Beside the wonderful location, facilities and atmosphere, the caring staff try to make every wish come true for a memorable stay. I definitely recommend this place to everybody who looks for a special time out.

Lindo lugar para unas vacaciones tranquikas cerca de la CDMX

Estuvimos muuy contentos en nuestras cacaciones en la Finca Catalina. El lugar muy bonito, muy tranquilo, con unas hamacas que invitan a descansar. Todo limpio. Una muy buena actitud del personal. La comida deliciosa (aunque el servicio algo lento). La cena de Año Nuevo extraordinaria, aunque quizá demasiado generosas las porciones (normalmente es lo contrario). Muy recomendable. De verdad felicidades por el esfuerzo que hacen para tener contentos a los huéspedes.

Área de oportunidad, la velocidad con la que sirven los platillos. La alberca invita a nadar, aunque un día nos tocó un poquiiito fría, pero nada terrible.
