Everything about this place was great and the staff were so exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds are so comfortable you won't want to get out of them, the breakfast is delicious, and the hotel grounds are immaculate. By the end of our short stay we wished we would never leave.

Overpriced, bad conditions and poorly run "hotel"

The place is located relatively centrally, within easy walk of the downtown and the main attractions in town.

The conditions depicted on Booking were not the ones I found on the ground. This property should not be called a hotel, let along anything with "concierge". It can at best be described as a poorly run and shabby Bed & Breakfast. Below are the main issues with this property: - Description on Booking versus Reality: This property has 8 total rooms, with virtually no noise insulation between them. The rooms are located on the same poorly lit hallway as the front desk. I could not rest at all given constant noise from neighboring rooms and from people at the front desk talking and listening to a loud radio. The whole place smelled musty. The bathrooms vented into the hallway (see attached picture), which created a persistent foul odor in the whole building. The bathroom was dirty, the shower had what looked like mold (see picture) and the toilet did not flush properly. The room was austere and lacked basic comforts one would expect in a hotel (it had dirty tile flooring, a curtain that did not block the light, making sleep even more difficult on top of the constant noise). The property is described on Booking as having a pool and jacuzzi, but both were in much poorer condition than described on the website and way too small for more than one person to use (picture of the pool area attached). - Service: No one among the staff on location speaks English or was able to address any complaints. For any complaint, I was simply told to contact Booking. This property has "concierge" in its name but the staff literally cannot offer any service. - The property claims to have breakfast included in the rate. However, once at the eating area you find out that only a couple of dishes are included. To get anything else you have to pay extra. The pastry was stale. I would not recommend having breakfast at this establishment.

Flor y Canto Hotel is a great place to stay. Alejandra the owner and Rubi and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make our stay great. Alejandra even gave us a room with a balcony.

The only think i thought was that the price was a bit steep and that the day we were leaving which was a Monday the hotel seemed to be understaffed.

Good hotel with exceptional service!

The staff were five stars! They were really kind, friendly and accommodating with our requests. The breakfast was great too. The bed was comfortable and the location is stellar. I think the staff are one of the best I have experienced so far

The walls were thin. You can hear everybody all the time. Dogs and chicken nearby were really noisy and the hotel facilities cannot keep the sounds out. The shower pressure was weak too.

Super tranquil and beautiful energy! Everyone was so kind to us and got us anything we needed. SUPER comfortable bed and nice pillows I slept like a baby! Really close to center btw! Didn’t have a chance to try the spa but everything was perfect

The room and bathroom are clean and the beds are comfortable, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. the staff is very respectful, and there is a swimming pool, for a hot day.

No phone in the rooms , and no real restaurant although the food is well prepared , the staff is limited , if you want to order something, have to go to the reception or even go down the garden, to do it. The walls do not have a good sound proof, you can hear everything.

Comodidad y ubicación pero la alberca fría lo demerita.

Es muy buena opción para unos días tranquilos en familia, las habitaciones e instalaciones muy limpias, la cama super cómoda, la vista desde el balcón de la habitación hacia el Tepozteco es muy linda, el desayuno muy completo, el personal de servicio amable, atento y cordial. La ubicación es percecta para no usar el auto en toda la estancia.

La alberca fría. Antes de reservar leí en los comentarios que la alberca era de las pocas templadas, pero ahora en fin de año que se necesitaba estuviera templada, no fue así. Me quedé con ganas de nadar un rato ( mi familia también) y no lo pude hacer debido a que estaba fría, uno busca en el costo de la reserva ese tipo de comodidad y ésta alberca no estaba templada. Solo por ese gran detalle considero no debió costar lo que pagué.

Excelente para relajarse

El lugar es Excelente, desde que llegas te reciben con mucha amabilidad. Las habitaciones dobles son muy pequeñas, y las ventanas no dan a ningún lado, pero están muy limpias y cómodas. Me gustaron mucho las zonas comunes y la alberca climatizada, deliciosa!! como el hotel es pequeño se puedes disfrutar más. El desayuno incluido wwoooww 20/10 espectacular!! Creo que es ideal para escapada con pareja o amigos, ya que no hay niños, es decir, no están prohibidos, pero casi no hay, hay más personas que van a relajarse.

El Spa era demasiado caro y donde te daban los masajes no parecía spa, más bien como un cuarto.

El servicio fue excepcional, toda la gente que colabora en el hotel es muy amable y servicial. El desayuno buenísimo. Fuimos a una boda y contratamos servicio de de facial y peinado; estuvieron excelentes. Tienen un gran equipo de trabajo.

Al llegar que fue jueves a medio día, tuvimos que esperar a la persona para que abriera el hotel, situación que no debe ser.
