We enjoyed absolutely everything, from the incredible views, beautiful architecture to the warm welcome from Ana our host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend Madre Tierra to anyone visiting Tepoztlán that wants a very special experience.
It’s only 2km from the Center of town and very easy to catch a local mini bus or taxi or 30 minute walk into town. The staff were kind and attentive and served a delicious breakfast in the privacy of our own space. We wished we could have stayed longer.

I cannot recommend Madre Tierra enough. We came to Madre Tierra after I had fallen in Mexico City and broke my arm. This was the most healing, beautiful and naturallly lovely place. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. The breakfast’s served on our porch were ample and delicious. Ana is a very special hostess. We also enjoyed some of the wonderful treatments to be had at the Nirvana spa just up the road.
