A wonderful experience, highly recommended

We enjoyed absolutely everything, from the incredible views, beautiful architecture to the warm welcome from Ana our host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend Madre Tierra to anyone visiting Tepoztlán that wants a very special experience. It’s only 2km from the Center of town and very easy to catch a local mini bus or taxi or 30 minute walk into town. The staff were kind and attentive and served a delicious breakfast in the privacy of our own space. We wished we could have stayed longer.

A lovely property in a quiet spot with exceptional staff!

I cannot recommend Madre Tierra enough. We came to Madre Tierra after I had fallen in Mexico City and broke my arm. This was the most healing, beautiful and naturallly lovely place. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. The breakfast’s served on our porch were ample and delicious. Ana is a very special hostess. We also enjoyed some of the wonderful treatments to be had at the Nirvana spa just up the road.

Everything was fantastic. The host was so kind and so helpful in organising an eaely taxi so we can catch our flight. She woke up very early to make us coffee. The place felt magical, I wish we could have stayed longer.

A slice of paradise

What is not to like! Our suite was large, the terrace private, and it had a jaw dropping view. The breakfast was fresh and the coffee strong. The staff and owner were so kind and helpful.

Only negative, but will NOT lower my review score, because that is sometimes part of the Mexican pueblito charm is that there are no blackout curtains and the rooms are not at all soundproof.

The breakfast was wonderful and our host was so helpful and kind! This was one of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed. She organized a massage for us at the b&b and was helpful with all of our questions. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

No complaints! The location is a bit far from the center but there are plenty of taxis and it's a nice walk. The city center can be quite busy so it's nice to stay somewhere so peaceful.

absolutely stunning property with the most unique architectural details we’ve ever seen, located in an incredibly tranquil part of tepoz. property owners and staff were also incredibly accommodating and caring. not to mention some sweet dogs and a cow who greeted us every day with lots of love. this is now one of our favorite places and we have vowed to come back.

A wonderful stay where we felt relaxed and very welcome

The breakfast! It was delicious and they catered so well for our toddler. The mountain view was stunning and the room very comfortable. The area was very peaceful, so you could get away from the noise of the town whilst it still being easy to get to (40 minutes on foot). All of the staff were so kind and hospitable and we would love to return.

The breakfast was full and big and incredible! Truly delicious and what a view sitting under these fabulous mountains! The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We would come back for sure!

There could be some updates, but overall its really great for the price. Pillows were a little flat and not very comfortable.
