Was great, but there is always room for improvement

It was in an amazing position, really close to metro. Plus the customer service staff via whatsapp was relatively fast with communicating. Be aware that you will be relying on your phone a lot, because you can open and lock the flat with their Sweett app ( you also have an option of using the code for the lock)

We were in the ground level apartment with windows to the street, the windows don’t isolate sound that well so you can expect to hear everything thats going on the street like the window is open. Thankfully the street is pretty quiet and calm during evenings, but you will still get a lot of people coming through it

Clean apartment but the luggage storage is not entirely true

Noise at the very early morning when the street cleaning started to work. Also, I booked the place because it has luggage storage. However, I only knew the storage is at another location. Which make it very inconvenience. However, my booking was non refundable, I could only accept it. The ad on Booking.com should specify the storage is in another location.

Just great for a family.

Large floor space meant it was great for a family with kids. Close to a number of good restaurants, small supermarkets and transport options. Baby cot provided free of charge was a bonus.

Never rent that flat: you’re being crooked

There’s nothing likeable with a flat which turns out to be a restored cave, with windows opening at the level of the street. Had I known this at first I’d NEVER booked this flat which was close to the dustbins

The flat was a fake ground floor one and in fact buried halfway in the soil with windows opening at the level of the street. It allowed people to see us inside and tramps sat outside forcing us to close the windows. The pictures were made in such a way that you could not guess that it was so. You feel duped and crooked. When I requested another flat they were fast to remind their terms and conditions. We asked for a late check-out of 2 hours which was declined at the last minute.

Ended up staying somewhere else

The location was close to transportation. The hosts were responsive.

I booked a unit with two bedrooms with double beds. When we arrived, we had twin beds in one of the rooms. We asked to be switched to a unit with the right accommodations, but they said none were available. The unit did not have air conditioning but advertised fans. The fans in one of the bedrooms wasn't working. They said they would send another but then advised that they were understaffed and couldn't provide it. The TV was not working - the wires had been pulled/damaged. The lobby of the building smelled so bad - like rotten food, or a dead animal. They said they would have it addressed. The apartment is accessed by an elevator - meaning the elevator opens directly into your unit. If the codes are entered incorrectly, you may end up in someone else's unit, or them in yours. That didn't feel safe to me and I was not aware when I booked it. They offered us a refund if we could find other accommodations. We did find another apartment (not what we wanted but didn't have these issues). We are waiting on the refund from Booking .com

I had the 3 most awful nights of my life due to the metro and street noise.

It is a nice appartment with space, it's well located in the city

This is below the ground floor, and there is a metro line going underneath the appartment. This means that the appartment is very, very noisy. You can't sleep before late due to the metro noise+shaking the bed, and they you are awaken quite early by the garbage collector truck, or car parking in the street with the radio super loud, or pretty much any noise coming from the street. I had the 3 most awful nights of my life.

GREAT location but property has some flaws

The location was superb. It was a short 5 minute walk to the Saint Lazare train station. There were plenty of restaurants surrounding this property. A short walk down a cobbled street got you to the main shopping area. We stayed in a 2 bedroom & a 3 bedroom apartment. Each apartment was well quipped.

Each apartment only had 1 bathroom which would have been fine but the shower does not have a door which means the water would spill out and WORST of all the exhaust in the bathroom was almost as if it did not exist. The bathroom got so wet that it would get slippery. We had to wipe down the floor after a couple of people took their showers before the next person used it. The other major concern we had was with access to the apartment. For each apartment we got a code for the elevator and the elevator opens directly into your apartment (there is no door /key). The idea was that this code would get us just to our apartment BUT there were atleast three instances during our 2 day stay where the elevator door opened and we were in someone else's living room and someone else almost entered our apartment (accidently). There must be a better manner in which to ensure the elevator does not accidently get guests to the WRONG apartment. There are so many security implications with this!!!

I waited four hours to get my keys, on the road when it is my first time is paris. only two sets of towels were provided and I did not get fresh sets while my stay was for 4 days. The windows wouldn’t open and it was extremely hot inside and there were no fans provided either. There were no cleaners and maintained people you could get in touch with. The service was terrible.

poor lodging

location was decent but for the price and the noise it was not.

they were conducting construction next to our lodging the entire time that we were there, using jackhammer, is banging on the walls, sanding stuff made the air coming into the apartment, poor and made her ability to sleep impossible during the week when they would start work before the sun came up. The shower when you stood in, it felt like the bottom was going to fall through, the vacuum would come apart. When you try to use it and clean the apartment, the wood flooring look like it hadn’t been glued down, and when you would walk on it pieces would curl up and down and squeak on every step , the TV was also mounted crooked. Amazing. we weren’t told via email what floor or lodging was on nor how to use the elevator code and the process and everyone else we saw checkin went through the same problem. I recommend next time writing out a description of how to utilize the code you give us in the floor that we’re staying on. the elevator also looks like the number inside is falling out and it never stops level with the floor and there’s no way to lock the elevator door from someone just coming into your apartment someone else could easily have the code that you’ve been given and come back to the same place it’s a little freaky.

DO NOT STAY HERE

No breakfast. Location good. Property horrible. Stench from garbage, windows did not open much, people on street looking down into our basement room through the crack--altogether a horrible experience.

It was advertised as having windows, it did not in effect. There were 3 windows that cracked open a bit, at street level (we were in a basement); this did not allow for much air. There was one weak fan that helped a little, we asked for more fans, it took 2 days to get one additional fan. People could look down into our room if we left the windows cracked, that was not fun. There was nothing good about this property, and the lack of responsiveness from the phone number/management was complete. All the bad things about being in an apartment (no help, no tv, nobody to ask if something wasn't working) and all of the bad things about being in a hotel (people outside the place shouting, the stench of garbage in the foyer, people being loud coming in and out at all hours)--we didn't sleep much at all because of the heat, lack of fans, and garbage/disinfectant stench. It pretty much ruined our time in Paris.

Such a great experience! loving the very high-tech apartment. would probably go back during winter

The location is perfect, metro 13 liege is just 200m away. Gare saint-lazare is just 500m away. The facilities and amenities are well provided, even though it was summer and no AC, but there were 2 fan inside the apartment. The security of the apartment is very exceptional! The staffs are really responsive and helpful.

Website photos very deceiving!

The location was okay, albeit loud on weekend nights.

The photos on Booking.com make it look incredible. The issue I have is that although you may realize that you are looking at several flats in those 147 photos, you cannot tell what rooms are in the apt you are going to end up with. Ours was unfinished and not nicely decorated as in the pictures. It was dark and damp, very little lighting on cloudy days and at night. The dining set was old and dirty. No closets in bedrooms. Many appliances/electronics did not work. Shower floor super slippery, with nothing to hold on to. Minimal toiletries. No decorations on walls. Difficult to get a hold of someone. Customer Service not helpful when I did get through. There was loud construction next door. Definitely over-priced!

Disappointing.

Spacious.

There was construction work happening on the building, right outside our bedroom. We were woken every day at 7.30 by very loud building work. The listing said there was construction work “nearby” and there might be “some” noise. That is not the same as builders outside your window.

I wish I had booked another place!

Apartment was nicely done and I like the minimalist style but that’s it

1. First thing I notice when I walked in was a dirty sheet on my bed! When I mentioned this thought it’s normal and excused it with thats a decorative sheet! I don’t understand why use something like that if you can’t be bothered to clean it! The stain at the front of the bed was huge and there is no excused for something to be left like that! 2. If you like to open the windows to get some fresh air you won’t be able to do it! They are in the street level so if you open it you will just get dust from the cars. Your view is basically people’s feet and car wheels. 3. I think one of the worst thing was that the apartment main door was next to the inside bin area and it smelled really bad! You have the smell coming into your apartment and on the other side you can’t even open your window. 4. I got locked out my first night! The lock broke! It took me more than hour to get through to someone via phone because no one was answering it! I only managed the property to deal with my issue after I called bookings.com. After that I had to wait another hour for someone that come and fix the problem. I didn’t receive any compensation or apology for this! Not even cover my phone bill for trying to sort this out! This place might be ok for a short stay maybe a night or 2 but not for someone traveling for longer. I stayed for 3 weeks and it’s not a place I’ll book again on my next business trip! Business travelers want to feel comfortable not be in a smelly no windows apartment

Great location. Walkable distance to most local sightseeings. We, as a group of 5, had a comfortable stay at the apartment. Recommended for people who would like to experience the city with their friends and family.

Everything was good except some minor problems. A little bit noisy at night. Can hear elevator and people walking. The pans and pots in the property were hard to use; they are easy to get sticky.

Excellent séjour après installation mais préliminaires laborieux

Bel appartement bien équipé spacieux proche du métro dans un quartier vivant offrant des commerces à proximité, conforme au descriptif. Lit confortable. Tout est prévu. Il n'est pas vraiment en rez-de-chaussée mais un peu plus bas, ce n'était pas un problème pour nous mais cela peut déplaire.

La finalisation de l'inscription sur Sweet relève du parcours du combattant pour ceux qui maîtrisent mal l'anglais. Même si on peut obtenir des réponses en français toutes les infos du site sont en anglais. Tout se passe de façon informatisée, le n° de téléphone à Paris ne permet pas de joindre un interlocuteur parlant français, un comble ! L'obligation de faire parvenir une pièce d'identité numérisée est très déplaisante, quelle garantie qu'elle ne soit pas détournée ultérieurement ? Enfin les codes d'accès ne sont fournis qu'au dernier moment par mail et il nous a fallu deux rappels pour qu'ils soient délivrés une heure après l'heure prévue. Il serait bon d'être informé de ce système car il ne convient pas à tous.

Buen departamento, pero frío y ruidoso en pleno invierno

La ubicación es excelente, muy bien conectada y en una zona ideal para recorrer París a pie o líneas de metro. El departamento en general cumplió con lo prometido: es amplio, cómodo y funcional para grupos grandes (ver tema baño). La distribución permite que varias personas se alojen sin sentirse apretadas y, más allá de algunas cosas, fue una buena base para disfrutar la ciudad.

Durante nuestra estadía hacía alrededor de 3 grados bajo cero y la habitación principal no tenía calefacción, al igual que el ambiente común, lo que hizo que el departamento fuera frío e incómodo en pleno invierno. Además, durante dos días hubo obras de construcción con gente martillando desde las 8 de la mañana, lo que afectó bastante el descanso. También es importante mencionar que se ingresa directamente al departamento desde el ascensor; no es algo grave, pero resulta poco habitual y algo extraño. Por último, aunque el departamento está preparado para 6 a 8 personas, solo cuenta con un baño, lo que fue un desafío logístico para un grupo grande, aunque probablemente estaba indicado en la descripción.
