My Maison In Paris Montmartre

Comfy and cute apartment. Don’t be put off by being close to Moulin Rouge. The apartment is down a little side street and noise was not an issue for us. The room had all we needed and was close to two different tube stops so it was easy to get where we wanted to go. The shower was so nice after a long day. The apartment is located in Montmartre area. Starbucks across the street for those who need to be reminded of home. We discovered a tram ride that is run on Sundays (not sure about other days) that will take you to the top of Montmartre area and drops you right at Sacre Coeur. You can hop off and walk the area (super cute artistic area nearby) and hop on to go back down. It will take you 20 minutes to get to downtown Paris attractions on the tube but we didn’t even notice the time. FYI…Lost some lights one evening but was quickly fixed by management.

Great location. Easy walk to Rue Lepic and Blanche metro.

No views or outdoor space.

The breakfast was extra so I did. It take it but I think I was supposed to get it.

The entire property (outside gate, bldg access and room access) is secured by QR Code which means you MUST have a cell phone with international service (or esimm) and adequate charge to enter the property . Twice we had to cut the night short because our phones were down to 20% after being gone all day (iPhones only 18 months old) and the readers are fussy and went thru 3% of battery tryin to get to our room. We do not use any social media and had most cell service turned off and it was 20.15. Also need better description of which section of building room is in and doors labeled better. We were lost and a maid showed us to our room and the process took about 40 minutes.
