Only go there if you bring food with you.
Location good. Breakfast OK.
Everyone be warned! The hotel does not have any food! And there is no restaurant or supermarket, nowhere to get food in the entire village. After a long day's hike that is tough.

Pretty on the outside, deceiving on the inside
The breakfast we were served was good. When we left, the receptionist and the kitchen chef offered us 2 local beers to try out, which was very nice of them. The building of the hotel itself is really beautiful.
We arrived at 8pm and the check-in process was quite weird... When check-in was done, we were informed that even tho we had taken the breakfast option, the buffet wouldn't be put out in the morning bc only 2 rooms had taken the breakfast option. We had to say exactly what we wanted, and only that would be prepared for us. That wouldn't have bothered us if it hadn't been said to us in such a "direct" way. When we arrived in the room, there were quite a few mosquitoes flying everywhere. We tried to kill them, but we ended up getting eaten all night by them. The room didn't have nightstands, and everything was "approximate". A small fridge was just put down on the ground in an awkward way, everything was unplugged (the lights by the bed, the fridge, the phone, the coffee machine, ...). The whole hotel's floor (including the room's) was carpeted. It wouldn't be a problem if it were correctly cleaned, as we discovered "suspicious" stains on the carpet + when we walked, the floors were squeaking because it's probably hard wooden floors under the carpet, but they could have put some products for the floor boards so not every step you take sounds like a horror movie...There were 2 dead bugs smashed on the side of my head pillow. The bathroom cleaning was approximate, and there were hairs from previous guests in the bathtub. Upon departure, I sat down for a minute on the "couch" to put on my shoes, and the couch (which is a sofa-bed) almost fell in pieces to the floor... We had paid over 300€ for the night, expecting a luxurious 3-star hotel for a couple's getaway, and it was really disappointing in the end. The building of the hotel and the hallways were beautiful, but everything was smelling like an old building that wasn't aired enough or cleaned properly, and that's just sad because not much could make a huge difference for this hotel.

Super nice staff and a very comfortable room.
It was very quiet, the entire town was quiet except for the train. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The SHOWER was amazing. I did not get to try the breakfast, it cost extra. The parking was great, I parked right outside the front door.
The hotel does not open early, so no early check in. I could not figure out for the love of me how to turn on the sink in the bathroom. The receptionist had to come up to my room and show me.

The worst time in the hotel in my life
I like the place and building
The woman from the reception was not nice and she totally not speak English (how is possible give somebody job one hotel reception who doesn't speak English???) In the room is not airco. Spiders and spider Web was on the floor and walls. I pay extra for breakfast and we get 4 croissant and 4 fruits to eat for two person... definitely to expensive and very bad reception service

Charming hotel and local restaurant nearby
This charming hotel is located in a beautiful, country area. Although off the beaten path, it’s easily accessible. Our deluxe room was spacious with a nice sitting area, and the bathroom with its spa-like tub was great. Everything was very clean and fresh and an in room coffee machine and bottled water was provided. Our charming hostess/hotel manager, recommended and made restaurant reservations for us at Il Saverio, a cozy small, Italian place in Comblain-au-Pont which is only 7 miles away. The food was so well-prepared and authentic with great gourmet choices for food and wine that was explained well by our excellent waitress. So our overnight stay at the hotel became a special, perfect experience. We had such a great time that we plan to return next year and repeat everything!
