Spacious apartment with everything needed for our 1 week stay. The host was very attentive and quick to respond. The location was secluded off the beaten path but was in the center of a courtyard with other apartments. There were 2 bedrooms, one downstairs with access to a half bath and the master bedroom upstairs where the living room, and full bathroom were located. This configuration would work great for a family with the kids downstairs. No issues for us as we were only a couple.
I loved Susan's (the host) aunt and uncle (and dog) who lived in an an apartment in the courtyard. They were friendly and checked on us everyday, asking what we did/were going to do, giving us ideas on where to go, etc.
We enjoyed having a washer/dryer to catch up on laundry.
There is a wall of windows (and the only door egress) facing the courtyard which poses a couple issues; privacy from others in the courtyard and heat from the sun making the apartment very hot. As a result we tried to always keep the curtains closed which made us feel anti-social. Wondering if a UV protection film could be installed on the windows, maybe a frosted version for privacy?

It was an unusual property but super comfy at the same time.
We loved everything about it and it was a super location for us .
Won't hesitate to book again .

Die Sauberkeit, die gute Ausstattung und die zentrale Lage in Schottland. Die Gastgeber haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns wow zuhause gefühlt haben.
Das Bett im unteren Schlafzimmer hätte mal ein Upgrade verdient.
