Schiehallion is a one bedroom house at Campmuir in Perthshire, sleeping up to four guests with a king bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Unwind in the private fenced garden with an outdoor sauna and charcoal BBQ, then explore Blairgowrie, Coupar Angus and Dundee. Well suited to couples, small families and guests travelling with their dog.
Living Space and Bedrooms
The house is arranged over two floors, with the bedroom and bathroom both on the upper level.
The bedroom has a king bed, wardrobe storage, a full length mirror and a hairdryer. Blackout blinds are fitted here and throughout the house.
The bathroom includes both a bath and a separate shower, with Arran body wash and hand soap provided.
For flexible sleeping, the living room has a sofa bed, and a duvet and pillow for it are kept at the property. This allows Schiehallion to sleep up to four guests, which works well for families with children or friends sharing a stay.
The living room is a comfortable place to unwind, with a Sony TV, books and board games, plus toys and games for younger guests. Netflix is not included, but guests are welcome to use their own account. WiFi is provided via a Starlink connection.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is set up for relaxed self catering, with a Whirlpool dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The dining table seats four.
A downstairs utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, along with an iron, ironing board and clothes airer. This is particularly useful for families, dog owners and longer stays.
For those travelling with little ones, a highchair and travel cot are available at the property.
Outdoor Space and Practical Features
A private, fenced garden sits just across from the front door, with outdoor seating for four and a charcoal BBQ for eating outside. The garden also has an outdoor sauna, a relaxing way to warm up after a day out exploring.
Around the corner, there is a smaller grassy area at the rear of the house. Please note this rear section is not fully fenced.
One well behaved dog is welcome, and a £20 fee applies. Please let us know if you plan to bring your dog, and kindly keep them off the furniture. The main garden is enclosed, giving dogs a secure space outdoors.
Private driveway parking is available and is shared with the neighbouring Acado House. Heating runs on oil and is controlled by a Hive thermostat.
