Manhattan Lodge, St Annes on the Se

Lovely apartment with an amazing view of St Annes beach. Nice and clean, spacious, had everything we needed and it was in an excellent location. Will definitely stay at Manhattan Lodge again, as we have before. Highly recommended!

If you want to be out and about all day and want somewhere homely to return to, the Manhattan is it.

Always a warm welcome on arrival. The apartment is very clean, very comfortable. Comfy beds. Good shower, with plenty of hot water. We don't cook whilst there, but the kitchen facilities are great if you wish to do so. Short walk from all amenities, shops, bars, restaurants. Good bus service nearby. Parking is always a bonus. This is our second visit to the Manhattan and we will return. Thank you to Derick and Nicola

A great stay

The sea view from the bay window was amazing! The flat is clean and comfortable, and with a range of appliances has everything required for a relaxing stay.

It was very hot - we turned the radiators off eventually.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay

We liked being welcomed when we arrived at Manhattan Lodge and we were shown into the light and spacious lounge/diner. We enjoyed a comfortable stay. There are three settees, a dining table and chairs, a coffee table and a large TV. The kitchen has everything you need:- Electric cooker, kettle, fridge freezer, and microwave. We also liked that clean linens were provided. Manhattan Lodge is in a good location, convenient for both the seaside and for the shops. We recommend and hope to return.

Enjoyed two day break but very tired when leaving as no sleep due to the beds.

Location, friendly welcome off Derek and parking. Apartment was spacious with everything that we needed.

The two beds were not comfortable to sleep on. They squeaked and felt like the bed bases were damaged. This was told to Derek at the accommodation. Did not sleep well. The beds definitely need trying by the owner to see what is meant and replace them.

Our little girli break

The downstairs apartment was excellent and great for poor mobility issues including the ramp to the front door, everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of wardrobe space , nice and clean also nice outside space to enjoy the sea air Nicola was very welcoming and helpful, Great position to get to the shops and main square yet still peaceful and close to the beach.

Perfect location and perfect apartment for a relaxing weekend

The location was perfect and the room was as requested with an amazing sea/beach view. The space was larger than expected and very comfortable. Lovely hot shower, lots of storage space. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the tv’s but having one in the bedroom was a nice bonus. When we were in the apartment we just sat at the lovely large window, relaxed and watched the world go by. The entrance to the apartment was clean and inviting and Derek was a good host that he was there to help but not intrusive at all. It’s a perfect quiet location, and still handy for the shops, this was our 3rd time staying in St Anne’s and definitely better than the previous 2 accommodation options as it was so quiet and peaceful, a good nights sleep was had by all

A incredible break and we could have stayed all week.

The living room was AMAZING. Sea views from 2 windows, a huge TV, clean and modern kitchen and really comfortable beds. Enormous amounts of storage space too. Sea views from the living room were incredible - literally over the road from the beach, but close enough to the centre of St. Annes to be there in 5 minutes. Close to all major shops but on a peaceful section of the promenade. Derek was brilliantly helpful too!

Very comfortable stay

Very welcoming host and large apartment with everything we needed. Always warm and had hot water. A great location for public transport, just a few minutes walk to the bus stop.

A mixture - little niggles

Location and parking were very good - it's very near town and beach and I used public transport most of the time as very close. Large screen TV linked to net was very good. When heat was sorted by maintenance , good. Clean and tidy when I arrived. Shower room tiled attractively and basin and toilet good quality.

The shower is weak flow, not acceptable in modern world. The stove top had old fashioned iron plates which took minutes to heat up. and leaked dirt which I had to clean every time. The microwave is rusted . Silicone around shower and the cooking area needs renewing as worn in places. The description is not accurate - no DVD player, no bathrobe and the view is of car park. I went alone but no discount for single use. Double glazing at front, in living area, couldn't cope with the very strong winds, resorted to masking tape ! The parking is unlit.

Derek of Manhattan Lodge was very welcoming, our apartment was clean and comfortable, the location was great for all of the shops, facilities, bars and restaurants in St Annes as well as for public transport to visit other locations such as Lytham and Blackpool, and it was excellent value for money.

Good location with plenty of space and free parking.

Well equipped kitchen which we made use of when we stayed in one night. Local supermarket in easy reach. Lovely big rooms so plenty of space. Great location in easy reach of town/shops/beach. Host was pleasant and welcoming. Super handy on site parking with lots of space. Overall good value to have such a large apartment with kitchen available.

It would have been nice if there was tea, coffee and milk available when we arrived, even if only a few bags and a small cannister of coffee. We've stayed in lots of places where these were included and it's a nice little extra that is very appreciated. The local shops aren't far but if I had realised there wouldn't be any then I would have brought some from home. I had forgotten shower gel also but in the last place we stayed there were products included, again a well appreciated extra. Quite outdated furniture and decor which some may like but not my cup of tea. The TV/music from the apartment below was very loud and we could hear it until quite late at night.

My parents have just stayed here again. They loved it as always. It's a very friendly and welcoming place to stay and has beautiful views. It's always clean and tidy and very spacious. A warm welcome is always received. My parents are already looking to book again.

Great location right on the front with free parking and within a few minutes walking distance of a bus stop and an Aldi. Lovely view of the sea from our front window.Well equipped kitchen. Offers great value for money.

Great place to stay.

Good location for town centre and buses to Blackpool and Preston. Also nearby train station. Property spacious, clean, comfortable. Staff helpful. 2nd time here and would happily stay again. Ample parking. Some rooms with sea view.
