Wonderful old building, great sea frontage very welcoming

Amazing venue beautiful old building and right on the front. Lovely staff and apartment had all you needed. Really close to all amenities and near the pier. The building has a range of apartments so will suit any groups from two to six Will be coming again

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location.

Beautiful property in an amazing location. It was also really clean and modern. Simple things like a great shower make a big difference!

Poor WiFi and given there was no dishwasher (as expected, one wasn’t listed), a dish drainer would have been really helpful for the dishes to dry as we were washing up lots.

One night festival stay

Firstly the contact from the owner was first class. Louise responded to my questions immediately and we could access the apartment before the 3pm check in time, she was also accommodating when we had a problem with the car on checking out of the apartment, offering to let us keep our bags in the apartment while we had the car repaired. To have a free parking space was an added bonus. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Superb location, short walk to supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops.

Nothing really, the price for one night was the most we've ever spent on accommodation but as it was the festival, everywhere that was available were charging similar money. I wouldn't recommend the property for anyone who had mobility problems, as far as I was aware the apartment is only accessible by steps.

It was like we had stepped into our own holiday home! Very clean with comfortable beds. Easy access and right across from the beach. We would definitely stay here again, quite happily for a long stay.

Mums 90th Birthday weekend. Excellent time.

Location was fabulous, the building that the apartment is in is a beautiful Victorian house, unusual and interesting. Apartment clean, decorated and furnished to high standard. We loved everything about this apartment and will return, we will def recommend to our friends.

Lovely Apartment & Location Everything you could need

What a lovely apartment this was, we were very pleased with it. Really easy to get to and a fab location, we like to stay in St Anne's then drive into Blackpool for the Pleasure Beach & Sandcastle. Apartment was very clean and well furnished. Our bed wasn't so comfy but thats personal preference, but my sons bed in the other room was very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped although we didn't really use anything other than the kettle and toaster, you could cook a full on meal there is that took your fancy. We will definitely stay here again

WIFI wasn't good at all but I was able to connect to my hotspot so my son could watch the football. Although this apartment is Pet Free they are allowed in other apartments in the Building so be aware of this is you have allergies/phobia (I'm not a fan of dogs and always book Pet Free places but they didn't really bother us)

Apartment was fantastic. Excellent location, close to the beautiful beach and some great restaurants. The apartment has everything you'd need. As a family of 3, There was more than enough room. Very spacious apartment and lovely beach theme decor. We will be returning.

It was everything I needed for this visit

It was a short stay so I could visit a relative who was having a major operation at a nearby hospital. Location excellent and conveniently close to facilities, places to eat etc. As it's on the seafront also v good for a bit of beach walking. Within the apartment it has everything you need and is v clean and tidy.

Location is excellent, easy walk to St Anne’s centre, sea front, pier, and bus stop

We had WiFi for about 30 minutes when we arrived but after that we didn’t get any access at all. Difficult as my daughter needed it to do some work. The stairs from the entrance are rather dark and the automatic light goes off quickly. The key lock was rather high up, I couldn’t reach it. Luckily my husband is a bit taller and just about managed.

Perfect location

The location of these apartments is perfect..close to St. Anne's centre and right opposite the beach, Pier 5 mins away.. Parking avaible.Apartment is very spacious and has everything you need.

Unfortunately there is building work going on close by..which can be quite noisy especially if you want a lie in..the only down side I can find about the apartment it's self is it's quite dusty. My partner has asthma and he struggled a bit with his breathing.

The apartment was very clean. Great location, near the beach and local shops, restaurants etc.

Would have liked a pint of milk in the fridge so we could have had a brew on arrival. Not a massive problem with local shops handy.

Great location.

Great location and easy parking. The apartment was nice and suitable for a small group of friends or family.Good place to stay for a couple of nights.

The bed in second bedroom wasn’t made up and looked as though someone had just vacated it. Not a great start when walking into the property. The assumption was made that we would only be using one room even though we’d booked a two bedroom apartment rather than the one bedroom. I was not happy when I rang the owner about the situation as his first response was - could I make the bed up! When I said I’d like it made up, his son did arrive quickly to do the bed- albeit leaving one pillow without a case on ( which didn’t matter as only needed two of the pillows). Fortunately, I also noticed the hot water was cold whilst the owners son was there and he fixed this straight away. The apartment was also very cold for the first day but did warm up by the second day. Bit disappointing, but on the whole a nice, clean apartment. As there are no curtains, only blinds, the outside light/s do seep through so be mindful of this if you have a problem sleeping.

Lovely, clean apartment but let down by a few issues.

A great location right on the sea front in the Lytham St Annes area, with a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Easy bus connection to Blackpool central.

The rooms were cold and not easy to work the temperature controls. However, the other issue we had was the noisy, yapping dog from a neighbouring flat whilst trying to get our children to sleep and throughout most of the evening, plus the extremely noisy neighbour's TV set, which sounded like it was in our accommodation. Appreciate that this is outside of the owner's control. We also couldn't find any bedding for the sofa bed so what we thought would work for 2 adults and 2 children didn't quite do the trick. Sad to say that this let the stay down.

A proper seaside holiday - and the sun shone!

Beach Retreat is well equipped, comfortable accommodation, it's nicely decorated and very clean, with a homely feel. Much of the equipment was new and matched the decor. With 2 small children, we had plenty of space. The flat has a great location which was handy for a variety of shops, and a large, beach just across road, with hardly anyone on it, even in August. Buckets and spades in the hallway of the house were there to borrow which was a nice touch. Lytham had plenty of activities for children and adults, enough for a few days by the sea, it's a nice peaceful resort.

Hallway/entrance was very dark: sensors to put on lights would have helped especially over stairways. Beds were comfortable and a king size bed would have been even better!
