The Old School House is in an excellent location - 10 minutes walk to the Square, 15 minutes to the station and 5 minutes to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spotless. The lounge was nicely furnished and comfortable.
We felt our apartment was a work in progress although nicely decorated, the amenities listed were not in situ. There was no iron, no microwave and no real storage in the bedrooms only a clothes rail in each room with mirrors in two of the bedrooms only. There was no hooks to hang coats or a door mat at the front door to wipe muddy boots or sandy shoes on. We did contact the manager and a microwave was supplied the following morning after our arrival so we were able to sterilise our baby grandson’s bottles.

The property is beautiful and the rooms were renovated to a high standard. The apartments were comfortable and a great base for exploring Lytham St Annes. We were a short walk (3-5 min) to the beach and into the town centre. Perfect for our family gathering.
The starter kit/ equipment in the kitchen could have been more varied. I.e., a tea towel, wine glasses, a few dishwasher tabs, etc. These are always helpful when you are only staying for a few days.

Good location and plenty of space in the apartment. Nicely decorated
The bed felt cheap, there was no option for different pillows, a lot of noise coming from the road, no roller blinds or curtains so a lot of light came through the slat blinds
