Fantastic location, quiet, cosy and homey.

This was such a gem of a property, and we are so glad we found it. It's a great location, very easy 30minute walk to the heart of Salzburg and 25mins from train station. It's lovely and quiet, and very warm (we visited in November so it was appreciated). The beds were comfy and warm, the bathroom huge and kitchen facilities very good. Petra was so bubbly and kind, and made the stay feel nice and homey from the moment we arrived.

No washing machine to do laundry but there is a clothes rack to dry little items if you hand wash. Not an issue for us as we did not stay for very long.

The lady of the house is upbeat and ready to share good information of area and to answer questions. Very nice living quarters as well. Clean, comfortable and charming.

A perfect apartment with a perfect host, what more can you ask for.

The owner lives upstairs, and she warmly met us upon arrival and showed us around the apartment. She (Petra) is a perfect host. She gave us excellent information on places to see, eat and where to buy groceries, all in walking distance. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and came with a nice patio and view of the backyard. The street is residential and quiet, so you do not have any noise. Everything was very comfortable with the stay.

If you are in need of a clothes washing machine, there is not one in the apartment. We were aware of this beforehand and washed clothes at our previous travel location so keep this in mind. Otherwise everything was super!

It had a well equipped kitchen. The host was very friendly.

It was a long walk into Salzburg along the river, I wouldn’t say a particularly pretty walk. Would say the outside area needs an upgrade/tidy up. Needs a shower mat in the shower as quite slippery and the very large cheese plant removing as takes over most the bathroom. These are constructive points rather than criticising the property.

Handy location in a quite residential part of Salzburg with free parking available. Kitchen facilities were very good. Host is very nice and helpful

Great apartment with a friendly host.

Great location. Friendly owner/staff who greeted us upon the arrival and gave an apartment tour with tips about Salzburg. Comfortable bedrooms, big bathroom, separate toilet, a kitchen with lots of appliances. Parking in front of the house.

The only dislike we had was that the dishwasher is tiny and the plates do not fit in it. But you can wash the dishes by hand.

Everything was perfect! We had a great stay.

Petra is the host everybody wants. She is very attentive and helpful. She informed us regarding the nearby grocery and transportation.There was plenty of information about the city in the appartement. The location was perfect and very quiet. We had a large and very private terrace where we had breakfast every morning. Walking to the center of Salzburg along the river was very pleasant and relaxing. It took 30 minutes. The bus to go downtown was an easy 5 minutes from the appartement. I strongly recommend this location. Thank you Petra, we really appreciated meeting you. Michel and Diane from Montreal.

Exceptional

The host was AMAZING!! So kind and sweet, very accommodating. It felt like a nice little home in Salzburg for the weekend. She was so gracious with our littles (6 months and 3 years). We had a couple little things that got left there (again, little kids) and she took the time to message us and even mailed the forgotten items to us in Germany.

Our stay

Host was very helpful, friendly, easy to reach and very responsive. The apartment is an easy walk to the bus stop (less than 10 minutes). Then easy commute into Salzburg. Host allowed us to park in the driveway which was much appreciated and better than trying to find parking! Beds were comfortable, good water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. We recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Salzburg.

Perfect accommodations for our Salzburg visit and we hope to be able to return and stay again.

Extremely spacious and comfortable. Homeowner could not have been any more helpful, available or accommodating. Quiet home, nice to return to in the evenings after our days of sightseeing in town. Parking available on site and we enjoyed leaving our car there and walking along the river to our various destinations each day.

Clean, comfortable apartment an easy walk to the center of Salzburg.

House is on a quiet street two blocks from the bicycle path along the river to the center of Salzburg. The apartment is extremely comfortable for four people with two large beds, an eat in kitchen, living room, and bathroom with toilet and shower separated. Petra was extremely responsive and friendly. Picking up keys and check out were extremely easy.

No complaints. It was exactly as advertised (but guests should recognize one bedroom opens onto the living room and does not have a door).

Petra și Salzburg - Combinația perfectă pentru un sejur perfect!

Totul mi-a plăcut! În primul rând, gazda Petra este un om minunat, empatic, foarte amabilă tot timpul, de un real ajutor în planificarea activităților și vizitelor zilnice în Salzburg și împrejurimi. Petra locuiește într-un apartament separat din aceeași vilă, așa că este un mare avantaj s-o ai aproape în fiecare zi și s-o bați la cap cu tot felul de întrebări, cum am făcut eu! 😀 Dar Petra a rezistat eroic! 🤗 Apoi, mi-a plăcut locația aflată într-o zonă foarte liniștită, este un apartament cu 2 dormitoare și un living, aflat la parterul unei vile, foarte spațios, cu terasă în spate foarte frumoasă, bucătărie și tot ce este necesar pentru un sejur minunat! Locația se afla la 2-3 km de centru, dar stația de autobuz este cam la 5-10 minute de mers pe jos și ajungi în centrul orașului în alte 10 minute. De asemenea, un om deosebit este și soțul Petrei, care mi-a oferit multe idei și explicații interesante despre Salzburg și istoria sa! 🤗 Cu siguranță, m-aș mai întoarce la Haus Hillinger! Vizitați Salzburg! Este un oraș minunat, cu o istorie captivantă, aflat într-un cadru natural mirific, înconjurat de Munții Alpi, care are un vibe aparte și o mulțime de atracții turistice! 🥰

Hier bekommt man beides - ruhige Ferienwohnung, eine halbe Stunde entfernt den Trubel von Salzburg

Die Ferienwohnung liegt am Rand von Salzburg in einer ruhigen Gegend, 30 Minuten Fußweg vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gastgeberin Petra ist eine sehr herzliche Person! Zu Fuß ist man in einer halben Stunde im Zentrum von Salzburg.

Petra ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Sie erklärt einem alles und man fühlt sich sofort pudelwohl :-). Die Wohnung ist toll, geräumig, sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden. Richtig schnuckelig. Wir haben uns wirklich rundum wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank liebe Petra!

Die Wohnung kann man weiterempfehlen, Sazburg ist eine Reise wert.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und verabschiedet, bekamen gute Tips für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war gut, die Betten bequem. Zu Fuß gelangt man auf einem schönen Uferweg entlang der Salzach in die historische Altstadt.

Der extra Raum für die Toilette war sehr klein und konnte nicht ausreichend belüftet werden. Im Bad fehlt ein Hocker und ein Vergrößerungsspiegel.
