Friendly staff, clean rooms and good location. A nice walk along the shoreline to the city center with good restaurants and bars along the way. There is a grocery store close to the hotel. Parking is included and just outside the entrance.

We were not allowed to have breakfast outside on the lovely patio after it had rained.

Good quality spacious accommodation

Lovely hotel we stayed in self catering apartment which was spacious and had all you need for basic self catering. No kettle but you can heat water on the electric hob or in microwave. Filter coffee maker is provided. Outside of Malcesine town but a short flat 15-20 minute walk along the pretty coastal path takes you there. There are a few restaurants along the way so no need to go into town for a meal out if you do not want to. Views from the large balconies are superb

Beds are very firm. Lots of steps back up to hotel from lake pathway not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Swimming pool was quite cold but it was early in the season.

Perfect location and great facilities

Location was perfect, an easy 20 minute walk into town along a well lit path. Safe night and day. Good to have free parking on site. The room was really big. There was a SPAR 5 minutes up the road which had everything you could need. The hot tub was great and the pool looked really nice too but it isn’t heated so was a little chilly for us to use.

The mattress was really hard, so hard that it actually was a little painful if you laid on your side for too long. The shower wasn’t great and the noise from upstairs during our stay was particularly bad. Family with young baby.

Your place at Malcesine.

Hotel Roma is the crown jewel! The staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and with a marvellous view, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is awesome. It was a perfect stay!

Relaxing stay in excellent accommodation with great staff

Location just 20 minute walk along beachfront to town, and less than 5 minutes to Supermarket and lovely Fresh Veg/Fruit shop. Staff exceptionally helpful. 5 mins walk down steps to beach (all beaches are stony so wear some kind of beach shoes, but warm water makes up for this), passing swimming pool on the way (ask the reception for Beach Towels). View from Balcony was exceptional - right across and along the lake. All locations are accessible from Ferries at Malcesine, and Cable car is an absolute must. Room had everything you would need for self-catering and more, location very quiet and mostly Germanic-speaking guests. Buses to/from Riva/Garda/Peschiera/Verona stops a couple of minutes (book at Malcesine Info Point or online to save money - and be careful of reduced timetable in Winter, especially early/late buses), hourly shuttle bus (fixed fare €1.20) between neighbouring Cassone, and the Cable car entrance (Hotel can book this for you - again saving money). Special mention to Elisa and Sana for all the help they gave us, and to the cleaning staff for great job. Would recommend you plan your days by keeping close eye on weather ! The Hotel pre-warned us that small dogs are allowed, but these were very well behaved and did not disturb us.

The young girl at the reception was very helpful and kind. Location was really good.

The bed was rock-hard, cleaning was so so and other staff was not as service-minded. We had our balcony facing the road, and it was very noisy as the windows/Walls/door was not soundproof. A bit More vegetation/flowers at the balcony would have been appreciated as protection from the road noise.

Stunning views, well equipped apartment & friendly staff

We really enjoyed our stay in here. We we wished we had booked for a longer one. Sana at the reception was very warm, hospitable and helpful. The apartment is clean, well equipped and overlooks a stunning view of lake Garda & the mountains. It was a lovely relaxing stay amidst the serene nature. The hotel is not very far from the town center of Malcesine. It was perfect for us to enjoy the lively central town, or go for an an activity during the day, and then come back to the quiet hotel and enjoy the evening on the terrace.

Just keep in mind there are mosquitoes which is normal wherever there is nature & greenery. So make sure to pack an insect repellent.

Exceptional

A great almost-3-stars hotel with breathtaking views to the lake and to the mountains on the other side. Great location just on the shore of the lake with a nice beach. Very clean room with two (!) balconies (and both with a great view), neat, daily room service and an amazingly friendly staff, who knows what good hospitality is. Thanks for a great stay and we are already looking forward to coming back!

I am amazed by the friendliness of the staff here. we had two rooms: one with Mountain View and other with lake view and both were exceptional. the view from hotel and swimming pool is unforgettable. in 2 minutes, you are the beach by walk. the surroundings are a paradise. i could not ask for more.

Location is excelent. There is nice beach, just next to the hotel. Hotel is very nice and cute. Staff was very friendly.

Room wasn’t clean during our stay at all, we should do it ourself. Location of the bathroom and toilet wasn’t good, like a damp cellar without ventilation at all. We had to take out the garbage to the dumpster in ~ 200 meters from the hotel by ourselves

It seems from the description that all lake view apartments come with a balcony with access to a terrace but that isn't the case - it is either balcony OR a shared terrace area with a table for each apartment. We thought we were getting a balcony but we got only the terrace. We were told we should have commented that we wanted a balcony when booking. The staff were very accommodating however, and we got moved to a balcony apartment after a few nights.

La zona e' molto bella, pulita e con molti servizi e attivita'.

Buona posizione sia per collegamenti interni che per la riva del lago, zona ben servita. Tutto raggiungibile a pieni o in bici.

La prenotazione tramite Booking.com prevedeva e confermava la presenza di bagno completo di bidet, tuttavia all'arrivo segnalavamo la mancanza ma nessuna opzione e' stata valutata o proposta per sopperire alla mancanza. Abbiamo quindi passato il soggiorno nell'appartamento lato vista montagna senza bidet. Nessuno sconto applicato, nemmeno una colazione offerta.

Ein Katastrophe, wir sind nach der ersten Nacht wieder Abgereist.

Frühstück war nicht dabei.

Das gesamte Quartier war ein einziger Raum, das Bad und Toilette im Keller, 5 stufen hinunter, der Schlafraum war im Zwischenstock oben, 5 stufen hinauf. Der Garten ist die reine Wildnis. Der Strand ist nur über eine endlose Stufenreihe erreichbar. In der Beschreibung wird nichts davon erwähnt, die Fotos sind ein Witz. Auf der Terrasse lärm vom Pool, man hat definitiv keine Ruhe.

Sehr erholsam

Hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse direkt zur Seeseite. Es war schön ruhig mit tollem Blick. Schöner Fussweg direkt nach Malcesine. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurant und Bars in unmittelbare Nähe. Studio sehr gut typisch italienisch ausgestattet. Terrasse super mit Sitzgelegenheit und Liegestühle. Poolbereich sehr schön.

Freundlichkeit und Service waren sehr gut. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit dem Ausblick auf den Gardasee war jedesmal ein Highlight.

Mit wärmerem Wasser wäre das Baden im Pool angenehmer gewesen.

Hotel położony jest w pięknej lokalizacji, wystarczy przejść ścieżką przez gaj i wyłania się jezioro i plaża. Deptakiem mozna dojść spacerkiem do Malcesine. Blisko do sklepu i restauracji. Obsługa pomocna i miła. Pokoje czyste, sprzątane regularnie. Śniadania smaczne, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Miejsce idealne na wypoczynek i bazę wypadową do zwiedzania. Na pewno jeszcze odwiedzimy ten obiekt!

Brakowało mi czajniczka elektrycznego w pokoju, ale nie było problemu i o gorącą wodę można było poprosić w barze.

Materace w naszym pokoju bardzo twarde-co kto lubi ale dla nas za twarde. Dla nas Polaków (herbata do posiłków)bardzo by sie przydał czajnik bezprzewodowy bo wodę gotowaliśmy ciagle w garnku, W pokoju od ulicy było dość glosno(przy otwartych oknach motory,skutery i auta praktycznie non stop bo to dość ruchliwa ulica) Te 3 drobiazgi.Reszta super.Pobyt świetny

Tolle Lage wunderschöner Blick

Wir verbringen seit über 30 Jahren unsere Urlaube rund um den Gardasee an verschiedenen Orten.Die Lage des Hotels mit dem Blick auf den See ist so schön.Unser Zimmer u.Terrasse waren groß&zweckmäßig eingerichtet und in ruhiger Lage.Toll der Zugang zum See.Nettes Personal, sehr schnelle Antworten bei Anfragen.Der Pool war groß und erfrischend.Großer Spar Markt nebenan. Die Klimaanlage kühlt unten sehr gut .Wir würden wieder kommen und können das Hotel /Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen.

Für mich persönl.( 62kg/Hohlkreuz )war die Matratze oben im Bett leider zu hart;-(. Für das Kind war es aber ok:-) Ich weiß allerdings als Fewo - Betreiberin, eine Matratze für "Jedermann" ..sehr schwierig ...

Mi è piaciuto tutto, la posizione, con una comoda e bella passeggiata lungolago si raggiunge agevolmente il centro di Malcesine, la presenza di un posto auto riservato, la professionalità e la cortesia del personale

Tolle Lage und Blick, Ausstattung ok

+ Michele, der sympathische und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück jeden Morgen - perfektes Rührei! Die anderen waren auch immer sehr nett. + Lage zum See toll und zum Laufen nach Malcesine super einfach + Blick vom Pool auf den See war perfekt + für den Preis von 13 Euro pP war das Frühstück zwar klein, aber solide. Es gab frisches Obst und auch mal Pancakes. + Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse war sehr toll! + Wir durften am Abreisetag nach dem Auschecken noch am Pool bleiben - danke nochmal dafür! Frisch machen ging Dank extra Toilette mit Dusche prima. + Bad sehr modern und gepflegt.

- spärliche Ausstattung der Zimmer, nicht sonderlich wohnlich, Bilder haben eine andere Erwartungshaltung geweckt. Mit einer bisschen Farbe oder Deko wäre hier schon viel getan. Dennoch zweckmäßig. - Geringe Küchenausstattung im Apartment. Kein Spülmittel oder schwamm, daher unbedingt Basics selbst mitbringen. - Klimaanlage war etwas muffig.

Schöner Ausblick - Personal fragwürdig

Der Ausblick, die Lage und der Pool

Zimmer extrem hellhörig, ab 07 Uhr morgens hat man andere Gäste und das Personal so laut gehört, dass ruhiger Schlaf nicht mehr möglich war. Unser Apartment war leider nicht besonders sauber. Am meisten hat uns aber das äußert unhöfliches Personal (besonders die ältere Dame an der Rezeption) gestört. Jegliche unserer Anliegen wurde unhöflich und herablassend behandelt. Uns wurde das Gefühl gegeben als wären wir keine Gäste sondern lästig, selbst bei einfachsten Anliegen wie einem iced coffe.
