Take it only if you don’t find anything else

At least the bathroom was clean. The location is not bad, but that part of Genova looks shady and not the safest.

There was a constant smell of canal/old water in room. We had no breakfast included, but it looked very poor in choices.

Affordable safe hotel close to train station, restaurants and cruise port

Short walk with luggage from train station. Hint: Walk around the circle starting from the left which has crosswalks/lights. If you to right, you will be on the wrong side of the street with no crosswalks. Staffed lobby controls front door. Had to pay local tax. Room key! Took elevator to floor. Hallway lights are motion sensor and do turn off quickly. This is an old hotel/building. Room was updated and nice but old. Included a full/queen and a twin. There is a desk, TV, clothes rack, toilet/bidet, sink and shower. Windows are glazed but do open into back alley. AC/heat had no instructions and I think I managed to figure it out. We found a locally run restaurant within walking distance and had a great dinner there. Most restaurants are near the train station including inside. There is a terrace on the top floor where I think breakfast is served. We went up there at night and it was dark and cold. We were able to request a late checkout by noon. Next day was shortish walk to cruise terminal. Note there are a flight of down stairs on this route.

Surprise tax. Hallway lights turn off too quickly. Room key is hard to use in dark. No instructions for AC/heat. There are small steps into lobby so had to lift luggage. Not much to do in area at night.

Would stay again - great location for exploring Genoa

Literally across the street from the main rail station, within walking distance to the harbours and with plenty of public transport nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was substantial

The hotel is on a busy road so there is traffic noise from around 6.30am to 10pm - nothing you would not get in any busy city hotel

Overall a great place to stay close to the main train station!

While we only had a bed there for the night, we found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably spacious and exceptionally clean.

Quite enjoyable

Best thing is the location and the staff. Literally two min from the train station, the terrace upstairs is v beautiful and the staff is kind and professional. The rooms are nice, shower is potent and with the curtains closed there is no way to tell the time

The hotel does has an old vibe to it. I did thought that for 2 nights it was a little bit too expensive (280€ for a double bed), but overall would recommend.

I was greatful for find it on short notice.

The hotel is old and in need of upgrades. What made up for that was the exceptional staff, plus the proximity to the train station since it was raining and I was walking. It is literally a three minute walk from the train station. Plenty of places to eat near by.

Centrally located with good amenities

Everything was working well. Comfy bed, good shower flow and also they had nice welcome amenities

The door was not closing well, it felt that it can be open with a strong push. The receptionist assured us that it was a family hotel and nobody can access but it looked like nobody reported that the door lock mechanism is not working

This hotel is located close to the train station which is great!

This hotel has clearly seen better days: some stuff starts to break down, like the shower doors. The matress on the bed was too thin, and the entire bed felt like it was found in a campervan. Old sheets with holes in them. Also, according to signs in the room there should be a 3rd floor where there’s breakfast, but instead, they’d put some tables literally in the hallway and served breakfast there. Coffee wasn’t worth it, get a capuccino at the train station instead.

Nice hotel in the old town with a big terrace and nice view .

We stayed in very nice room with a big teracce on the 2nd floor. View was perfect. Staff was very kind. They offerd free breakfast.

Good location for a layover close to the train station. Room was clean and bathroom also and everything worked. Basic good.

Bed was quite hard, this is common in Italy though. Room was quite small for a longer stay, but good for one night.

I love the hospitality of the staff. They were super nice and kind. The room might not be the most modern you can find in Genova but bed was very comfy and the overall room very clean. The location is super because in 2 minutes walk you are in the beautiful historical centre of Genova, Great value for Money.

Cheap room at last minute

Front desk attendant was not nice. Treated my family and I as if we were illegal immigrants and asked for our passports and ID. We are a military family and did not like the way we were treated.

La camera è un po’ vecchiotta negli arredi Il bagno ha solo il sapone per le mani, manca sapone/saponetta per il bidet Non ci sono termosifoni, solo un condizionatore che però non riscalda sufficientemente la camera, che è rimasta gelida per tutta la notte
