Perfect location very close to railway station and the old town, bars and museum. The place is old and veary, som things broken but the bed was comfy. Its okey if you just want a place to sleep and dont care about noise and dirt.

Worst hotel. Toilet door is transparent in our room. Does the hotel management want us to show others how we sit in toilet? And what we do there..? I just wonder, they’ll fix CCTV in toilet next time 😏😏

When I got to my room after check-in there was no bathroom, I went back to the reception and said my reservation says "Private bathroom" (which it did), two of the guys discussed a minute and then said: "If you pay 10 EUR extra you get bathroom inside room." I repeated that my booking says "Private bathroom", they discussed again and then gave me a different key... There was no heat in the room (temperature was about 15C, yes I opened the valve on the radiator, pipes where cold), this made me sleep good for most of the night but it was cold to get out of bed in the morning... Walls and door are paper thin and I did wake up twice during the night because some was shouting / calling in the corridor. Apart from that is was pretty quite, don't think there was to many other guests staying there... Hot water, I let the water running both in the sink and in the shower for ~10 minutes (including the shower I actually took), water temperature topped out at 20 C (warmer then the room...). I have stayed at over 40 hotels this year, over 35 booked via hotels.com and the majority in this price range; I would rate this bottom three... There are another hotel across the street, I stayed at that hotel to, similar name, similar price and they have very friendly and helpful staff.

I'm sorry that I have to leave a bad review. The hotel is located in a very bad neighborhood. Also not easy to reach, specially if you have heavy suitcases definitly avoid this place. My last night at the hotel a woman and a man (2 Nigerians guests of the hotel ...apparently) had a terrible fight and there was blood everywhere and I had to call the police. The screams of the woman were terrible and no one intervened. I escaped right away in the morning and they did not even provide any discount.

Our booking at another hotel was canceled so we had to hurry to find something else available close to the cruise ship terminal. We were lucky to find parking on the street at about 10pm. We walked up some steps to an alley to find this hotel in the alley...a bit unsavory. The 2 staff people were very nice and spoke English well. The room was...shabby with a window on the alley, but I had earplugs and noise wasn't too much of a problem although the walls seemed to be thin. The bedspread was stained; the sheets seemed clean but we were only given 1 towel for 2 people. We were too tired to care...but the experience was complete when I took a shower and the sliding glass shower stall door fell off. I would say the room overall was clean enough but you couldn't be sure when you saw the stains.

Start with the positives. Although they didnt speak much english the hotel staff were very helpful, an example being lending us a phone charger to use during our stay. The wifi was excellent, even in our room on the 2nd floor. The facilities were exactly what we paid for, grubby and aged but did the job. There was no daily maid service but we were kindly supplied with fresh towels etc when we asked. The location was our biggest issue, getting to and from things and travelling via public transport wasnt a problem. It was the back street ally with people lingering and staring as we walked which we found to be rather intimidating. Overall though the hotel is a cheap and somewhat cheerful stay.

The man at reception didn't speak very much English but was very nice. They didn't seem very prepared for our stay, he couldn't find the key to our room so we were standing in the corridor for a while. The room was clean but the bathroom door didn't close properly and the bed wasn't very comfortable. Good wifi connection.
