The location was very difficult to access very narrow lane not suitable for large vehicles

Lovely location, quiet, near local pubs etc and short drive to so many places. Very clean and much appreciated the wood for the stove and kitchen bits like cling film.
Appreciate the house is an old miners house and we loved the character, we just kept banging our heads on low doorways. We would have benefited some padding to help with this as you go in to the kitchen and the second bedroom.

Fantastic location, beautiful views, cosy, very well equipped kitchen, with a nice walk into the town. The accommodation was very comfortable and quaint with a nice sunny garden. Outstanding information and communication from the host, including very speedy resolution of an issue we had. We loved the location as had booked the steam train (which you can walk to) and were easily able to drive to the Snowdon railway, the large Zipworld, and Portmerion in well under an hour. There aren’t many decent restaurants walking distance but there is a very good fish and chip shop and a reasonably big Co-op supermarket to pick up provisions for self-catering.
My elderly parents struggled a little bit with the uneven landing at the top of the stairs and also getting up to the raised garden. The vehicle access is tight and I’m not brilliant at parking so struggled a bit. As described in the prior information, you wouldn’t be able to drive a large car down the lane or park it. But only very minor issues.

A quaint cottage excellently set up for a weeks holiday in the area. Everything you need was supplied.
Access is a little narrow and not suitable for a large vehicle. The trees and hedges opposite the cottage restrict views.

Very comfy beds, and cosy house! Loved the log burner. TV also very modern with apps such as youtube, as well as normal tv channels. Shower was also decent.
Dishwasher would've been nice, but you can't have everything

Comfortable, quiet, small semi-detached cottage.

Lovely picturesque location, great for accessing all of North Wales. Cottage is cute and had all the home comforts you could ever want. Beds are super comfy with plenty of additional blankets for getting cosy.
Pair of dirty pants in the washing machine and used cleaning cloth left in the bathroom - but these didn’t spoil our experience in any way.

Location was a great base for exploring the area. Finding the property was simple and getting in with the advance instructions was easy. The hosts had been in touch and were available by phone/text if needed. Also received a great welcome pack by ema with information about the local area and restaurant etc recommendations as well as wine and chocolates on arrival, much appreciated.
Cottage was beautiful, had everything we needed and beds were really comfortable.
Not much we didn't like at all.
Could have done with an extra tea towel and a cutlery holder on the draining board. Couldn't get the tumble dryer to work and on the last night, the shower water that had gone on the bathroom floor did leak through the ceiling a little bit but this is all nit-picking. We were so happy with the cottage.

Fantastic stay. The cottage provided everything we needed for our break and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated and enjoyed. Beautiful views from the cottage. Communication with the owners was always excellent.
The town of Blaenau Ffestinlog is pretty run down so we tended to eat out at other locations. The local shop was very well stocked however.

Great location, quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of the town. Excellent walks from the front door or after a very short drive. I arrived in very wintry conditions with deep snow, and enjoyed getting the cottage warm and cosy (I came prepared with plenty of firewood - and used a lot because it was a very cold start to the week). Despite the weather outside, the electric heaters did keep the chill off and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well-equipped and I made full use of the washer and dryer after getting wet and mucky out and about nearly every day! Good electric cooker too, and a huge fridge/freezer.
The cottage was just about perfect for me!

The house is really good with a breathtaking view, has everything you need and the fireplace was our favourite part
The one problem that we noticed was that all the heating only works if the fireplace is on. The lounge has an electric radiator that didn't work very well for us so the house was really cold, the owner of the property sorted the problem and send us heating fans and everything was brilliant in the end

Good location. Good facilities in house.
** These are observations to help others. It did not distract us from having a great stay in a century's old house.
The top of the staircase was rather quirky and narrow, could be a challenge for less mobile people.
The lounge was quite dark and needed lights on in daytime - that was to be expected in an old cottage.
It was also quite cold inside, even in summer. Thankfully heaters were on hand.
You need to be very competent at reversing and turning a car in the narrow lane/car park area !!

The property its self was lovely, full of character & located on a hill with beautiful views over the hills of Snowdonia. Every thing we needed, with extra bonus of washing machine & dryer.
Whilst the property its self was great, unfortunately it was let down by the town in which its located. Blaenau Ffestiniog is to put it politely, a little run down, a shadow of its former self. Everything just looks tired, with many places, shops, pubs etc having closed down. None of the pubs which were open do meals, so be prepared to eat out elsewhere if that's your thing.

Lovely well equipped cottage tucked away from the main village, yet has easy routes to village or the hills behind via the many footpaths that run right by the cottage.

The cottage has the most amazing scenery, was cosy and was in easy distance of the town. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything that you would need to cook pretty much anything! The parking availability was good and right by the house which was really useful for us. We had some problems with the fire but after contacting the hosts they got back to us straight away every time, even calling and talking through some things with us. I would highly recommend! There are plenty of blankets and electric radiators for if you do struggle with the fire!
The cottage's central heating is based on the woodburner in the lounge, which we didn't realise until about a week or so before we went. We would have appreciated more wood for the fire to start with as that is the main source of heating. We struggled to get the fire going at times which was a bit annoying, however they had provided lots of blankets and with the heaters on we were ok even without the fire going.

I couldn’t recommend this place more. The cottage is gorgeous (location is perfect and it has the most amazing quaint feel), and the owner couldn’t be more accommodating. Fantastic pre- instructions on how to get there and how to do the heating etc. and when we couldn’t connect to the wi fi, a personal password was provided straight away so we could connect. We even had cold milk in the fridge, tea bags out and waiting, and a couple of welcomed extras (wine and biscuits!) that went down too well. Thank you for such an amazing couple of days!
nothing.

The location was incredible, great views and a quiet little spot. You could only hear the waterfall close by or the cows in the next field. The welcome pack was unexpected and a lovely touch from great hosts. The cottage had everything needed for a home away from home.
There are some low doorways and the stairs are uneven.

An outside table to seat 4 would have been good.

The location was fantastic for seeing all of Snowdonia. The cottage was easy to find, the hosts were great with sending our welcome pack and that was all we needed for a great stay.
We didn't realise that some of the doorways were so low. It didn't particularly bother us but with my partner being 6ft. 4, he did have to be careful.
