Cosy, close to Betws-y-coed, access to garden, games, films, Sky TV. Kitchen had utensils etc needed if you wanted to cook meals.
The shower wasn’t great & the bathroom light was very dull, but totally appreciate the property is old.

Pillows and duvets very old and no pillow protectors so dirty. Mattresses on twin bed very lumpy. Mild round shower seals not good. Wood burner had not been cleaned out from previous visitors. We didn’t use it so not prepared to clean it.

It’s originality and quaintness.
Parking could be a little challenging?

Location good, an authentic cottage
The property was not prepared for our arrival. There was dirty linen on floor in bedrooms, beds were not made, dirty water in sink. 1 bin not emptied. To top this off on our arrival we were unable to make contact with either Sykes Cottages or Booking.com to sort this situation for at least 2 hours. We were then told to make beds ourselves from bags of linen under the beds.

"Such a cosy cottage!! We loved it here, such a peaceful, location! Log burner was divine for the cold nights! Cottage is a short car drive 5-10mins from Betwyscohed which is stunning! Already planning..."
