Kate is the most amazing, responsive and thoughtful host. She even messaged to check we had arrived safely and that everything was ok. We really felt that she cared.
Great welcome pack on arrival.
Beds were super comfortable, we all slept really well.
Beautiful cottage, lovely decor and clean throughout.
Climbed Snowdon with my two young daughters - the bus stop to Pen-y-Pass is directly opposite the cottage.
Lovely views from the cottage.
Quiet location yet easily accessible to Snowdon, Ogwen Cottage, Betws-y-Coed etc.
We had a wonderful stay. The only slight negative was someone parked in our space behind the cottage. We parked by Joe Browns which is only a couple of minutes away.

Lovely, well appointed and spacious cottage, furnished to a very high specification. Easy and free parking. The host was extremely helpful as I'd broken my ankle a week before and she made it possible for me to still go with my friends. She is very kind and left a welcome pack with a few treats. In a quiet location in Capel Curig - I'm familiar with the area so I knew there weren't restaurants or pubs on the doorstep and it's an easy drive to Bettws-y-Coed.
Bathroom is downstairs but given the circumstances that was ideal for me as I couldn't get upstairs anyway!

Kate was a great host and sent clear and helpful communications in the lead up to our arrival. The welcome treats were also appreciated.
The cottage was clean and well equipped, and was both cosy and spacious at the same time. All the beds were very comfy and plenty of hot water for all 4 of us to shower. The location of the cottage was excellent for our purposes, although local traffic was busy at times.
The bathroom is downstairs, which we knew beforehand, but it was a little bit of a pain. The stairs inside and outside are steep, which may not suit all. There is limited car parking at the other side of the terrace which we were able to use until the last day, but plenty of free parking was available a few minutes walk away but it's a bit uphill.
